  • i thought my speakers broke in the begining

  • bios I ment

  • on my motherboard my first option is system info. idont have a motherboard option

  • I have the same cpu as you do so does that mean I can do the same settings as you? I have 12gb of ram does that make a difference? cause I thought you had 4 or 6gbs.

  • can u pls tell me where are u from?? :P

  • i've never tried overclocking because i had never a cpu to permit that, now i'm going to assemble a new one,and i wanted to ask if the overcloking does reduce the cpu's life? btw thanx for the video

  • @Jayto91 Technically yes, but I wouldn't worry about that much unless your temps are constantly in like the 90's. The shortened life-span is marginal and most likely you will end up buying a new CPU before it actually dies on you from overclocking.

  • @Jayto91 iive been running and ep45ud3p for almost 3years now with a q9400 overclocked to 3.2 with no probs still running great i also have a x58aud3r with a 920 at 3.3 since day one with minimal probs so not really just keep an eye on all ur temps and all will be ok by the time it becomes a prob ull want to upgrade anyways let the addiction begin

  • @Jayto91

CPU's have life spans in the decades, overclocking reduces this time by a few years...ask your self this, are you going to be using this CPU in 20 years anyway?

  • @snedie69er nope, ur right,usually i upgrade to a new one in 5-6 years ;)

  • Well done video!

  • looking at that blue refreshed my eyes

  • This is my setup i7 930, mobo evga x58 sli, 8 gigs xms3 corsair 1600, v8 cooler master cpu, 600 watts power suply, evga gpu gts 250, I can follow the same procedure? or i need to change something, please let me know...

  • @1981shooter1981 Yup, you can follow it, might be slightly different since you're on EVGA mobo

  • after the overclock, can i enabled turbo boost, cpu enhanced halt and cpu eist?

  • really nice dude :D

  • You need Load line calibraion to compensate for vcore droop ...

  • And where would i stop if i only want to overclock to 3.00?

  • is it the same with the ud3r ?

  • Definitely the best tutorial on youtube! Also extra brownie points for the excellent camera work!

  • Can i overclock this processor to a stable 4ghz? with a custom cooler ofcourse ;).

if the heat does not go much above normal. then it wont change its life time, wil it?

  • awesome tutorial, great work explaining the basic. I am overclocking my 920 on a gigabyte ud5 before I move to my 980 and This really summed up everything I read. Thanks bro

  • excellent tutorial, thanks8

  • @imRoLxXHD Thanks!

  • what settings would you recommend for a 3.2GHZ overclock?

    i7-920 (stock cooler)

    EX58-UD3R

    Corsair 3GB 1333mhz ram

  • thanks broo well done

  • What mobo were you using,i have a gigabite x58-ud3r,will these settings work for me ?thanks
