Put slicks on the back of the shelby and then the audi would get dog walked the entire way down. The 2012 tt rs wins the 1/4 by .3secs. But look at the trap. shelby is 3mph ahead. Meaning it just boils down to a traction issue

The audi tts is also quit of a business car & stud car (=to impress big boobed blond chicks), which the GT500 is less... My opinion is that the GT500 is more of a muscle car, to compete on a 1/4 mile, but not a car you would drive to go to work with.

I 100% prefer the audi tts!! (but as said; just my opinion ^^)

gt500 '07 model puts 437rwhp on the duno and weighs about 3700lbs.the 2010 ttrs puts 365awhp and weighs 3300lbs.the ttrs should be pwnd from the 2011 5.0 stang gt on straight line and on a course

In stock form the ttrs goes 0-60 in 3.6 secs while the GT500 does it in in about 4 seconds. the ttrs can do the quarter mile in 12.1 while the gt500 does it in 12.4. stock for stock, the gt500 is the one that gets blown away. And even with mods for both cars, the gt500 would get pwned by the ttrs!

@SilverRaptorXL stock GT500 does 0-60 in 3.9s 1/4 is a 12 flat, also, considering the new shelby GT500 with over 600hp coming out...TTRS is nothing, not to mention purchase a set of slicks for the shelby out now and youre looking at mid 11s comfortably, and with even mods, as in equal amount of dollars spent, the 2011+shelby would eat the TTRS in a road course and in a straight line

@SilverRaptorXL I took my 2011 Shelby on Nurburg in March. Also did the GP track, and ate up a Carrera S. I think it was pretty fun, and plus it was way less. Those cars are a totally different class anyways.

Oh, and slicks do not qualify as stock tires sonny boy! A stock, straight from the dealership GT500 will not outperform a Audi TTrs. Hell, even a preowned 911 carrera 4 for the same price as the GT500 would shit on it! And that's with all wheel drive, and still the 911 is lighter than the GT500. The GT500 is not all that great,lol!

@BigT1113 With mods and the GT500's misstep, the TT only put up a good show. The Car was likely knocked 400+hp. A TTRS as stock would be blown away entirely.
