So Triganomatry =The study of a right angle triangle and the relasionship between the sides and angles.Delta = The angle your trying to find the trig function of. (SOH CAH TOA) SOH= sin opposite the delta angle over the hypotonus.CAH=co sin is ajasent over the hypotonus

TOA= opposite over ajasent.

Hypotonus=the longest side of the triangle.

ajasent=beside

So you measure out (using a ruler)how long the sides are and do the above

Can anyone explain to me or provide me a link to the exact formulas that sin cos and tan are using? Like, how were they originally discovered? When you type for example Sin 32 in a calcular, what is "Sin" actually doing to 32 to get the new number?
