@Tobishima I just ordered my furminator. I read that i should use it 2-3 times per week. I've never used a deshedding tool before. Is this how much hair i should expect to be brushing off thrice a week?!
@alcks01 for a little while yes, but each time you do it, it should produce less and less hair. It's just cutting the undercoat out, while leaving the top coat in tact. Once winter rolls around again, any dog with a heavy undercoat will grow it right back.

My dog gets upset about all the fur and trys to collect it, it's a good thing that dogs don't know how to use super glue or she'd glue it back on.
