@MMAFANATlC I like to use Gaffer's tape because is thick and is clean releasing. If Gaffer's tape isn't on hand than I will use a layer or two of masking tape. Just take into consideration how much pressure will be applied to the surface and if it is smooth or rough, this will help you determine how many layers to use.
