Ok, so if everyone's so uptight about playing someone else's riff, check this out: While My Guitar Gently Weeps, 25 or 6 to 4, Brain Stew and some bullshit by the Pumpkins that I can't remember right now. All those are based on the same basic riff. Music borrows from music. When a band comes along that puts those same chords together in a good way, with good lyrics, enjoy it and shut the f*ck up or DO BETTER, ASSHOLE. Good luck, 'cause the Keys are doing it better than anyone right now...

There are songs with similar structures ad ripoffs - LBS is a ripoff of Stairway. The melody is too similar to call it a coincidence or an "inspiration". Knowing the strange kind of humor of the band, it was probably done on purpose (because of the whole "Led Zeppelin rip offs" thing). They should've just covered the original Zeppelin song period - they put a cover in almost all their works, so why not this time?
