  • Im allergic to birds i itch when touching the

    P. S. You can get a hedgehog as a pet the dont spread dander :)

  • i react the same

  • thanks for the video. i'm the same

  • i am actually just finding out that i am allergic to a certain type of fertalizer or possibly strawberry plants. which is ridiculous because i have never been allergic to strawberry plants in my life! i am probably allergic to a certain type of fertalizer that theu use at the local strawberry farm. but i love their strawberries!!!!! i HATE allergies!!!!!!

  • I am allergic to any animal dander........so, I got a dog who is a maltese/poodle mix and problem solved because, they don't have dander at all! Years ago, I had a guinea pig and everytime I held her.........my skin would itch like crazy!

The problem I have with dander is........my asthma! I can't even go into a barn without my inhaler or I'm doomed!

  • @summerlove65 Wow, same for me! Dander gets my asthma acting up sometimes too..... It's usually horses and long- haired dogs that triggers it for me..... And it's so awful! It makes me feel like I'm breathing through a straw, and at times, like I'm breathing through even less than a straw!!

And yeah, I've heard about the poodle/ maltese mix being allergy free dogs. I would love to have one someday! That way I could actually hold it!

  • I'm al;ergic to them :'(

    by all of the listed.

I'm more of a bug bite thing, but it itches as well. and it goes for all animals

    I just hate it :'(

do you know about any pills or something to help?

  • @XxBrokenlySweet Well, there are no pills that will fix everything unfortunately. :( However, there are over- the- counter drugs that you can take such as Benadryl and Loratadine that might help with the breathing symptoms, such as wheezing and a stopped up nose.

  • Really? I love cats! I don't like dogs. Horses are OK.

  • Im allergic to dogs, cats and horses too. And i want a dog soo bad but when i go to visit my sisters and play with her dog i start to cough and my nose gets blocked. If i don't touch the dog i almost don't react at all. But as i said i really want to get a dog but i can't, and it really hurts 'cause i love dogs more than anything ;(

  • When I was a kid I used to be deathly allergic to cats to the point to where I had to be rushed to the hospital sveral times and have an emergency EpiPen shot with me, but as I kept going around them more and more started to build up an immunity to the allergens.

  • Hi i was wondering if you could answer me a question that i have, whenever i sleep over my friends house i got a terrible allergic reaction like sneazing, coughing, itchyness, runny nose, blocked nose etc and i found out he has 2-3 cats but there never near me in the house as he puts them out side when i come over so i'm thinking that maybe when the cat licks it's hair and loses that hair onto his carpet and when i sleep over(it gets bad when i lay down on the blow up bed and cant get to sleep) thnx

  • @pc4gamers It sounds like you are having an allergy to the cats. You can still have a reaction to it because the dander has probably shedded all around the house. For example, I once spent the night with someone who had a bunny. And I still had an allergic reaction to it even though it was only in a cage. It was because the dander was all around the house. And it could VERY WELL affect your sleeping. I couldn't sleep that night 'cause I had to deal with so much wheezing. Does that answer it? :)

  • @Kristiniskool Yes thank you for the quick reply, I was wondering what you would use to stop the allergy from attacking because to be honest i don't think i could sleep over my m8s house again because of me not getting any sleep and feeling uncomfortable also its embarrassing when you have to use a ton of tissues to survive the night anyway thanks and it's good to know someone who has similar problems in these circumstances

  • @pc4gamers Well, there's not really much you can do...... There's no such thing as a pill that can make you just stop being allergic to animals unfortunately.... :(

But there are things you can do to try to help make it better. For example, allergy pills such as Loratadine. Loratadine has been the most effective over-the-counter drug for me. Also, you could always go to the doctor and get some prescribed allergy medicine, such as Allegra or Singulair. I wouldn't suggest anything like Claritin

  • continued- or Benadryl. Since Claritin didn't help me at all, and Benadyrl will help but will make you extremely tired at the same time and I don't think you want that. Also, if you ever get wheezing, asthma inhalers usually help for that. So maybe a doctor could give you an inhaler too, and whenever you go to your friend's house be sure to bring it with you. :) Also, you could try nasal spray too.

  • continued- So basically what I do when I know I'm about to encounter a big allergy problem because of someone's pet is: I take an allergy pill, nasal spray, and an inhaler. It does help me some but it doesn't go completely away. So that's pretty much almost all you can do.....

  • i think i am alergic to dogs, i get kinda like the bug bites but it itches a lot

  • You could very well be allergic to them! I guess I could say that there are times when mine does itch a little bit. But it hurts a lot more than it itches. Either way, everyone is different, so you may have a different reaction than I do. You should get tested for it! Allergists can test you to see if you're allergic to them or not, so you should definitely check into that!

  • Im sorry... I have horses. i would hate to be allergic to them.

  • @ShockingHannaH

Yeah, it does suck sometimes, but I usually just try to find ways around it..... Such as when I want to hold my dog, I just put on a jacket so his dander doesn't touch my skin, and it usually works! :D I haven't found a way to get around being able to ride horses and some types of cats and dogs yet though, the only thing I can think of is to bring my inhaler and allergy medicine whenever I encounter one....
