The Colts pass defense was always their weak link in the 70s. At the time this game was played they were using two former college option QBs (Rex Kerns and Jack Mildren) as their starting safeties.
It's clear that the raiders did not get the better end of the trade of Raymond Chester-Bubba Smith, who never recaptured his greatness after tripping over 1st down chain in 1972 & messing up his knee. Wearing # 77 as Raiders LE, Smith was still quite strong but struggling @ 0:43-48, misses tackle @ 1:05-06, & close but no cigar @2:24.

@raelraven2 I guess Bruce Laird was still in his 2nd year and his development stage because Laird was terrific.
