  • @GTASA1969 When you were down there did tha rest of that junk yard still have tha rest of the roads? or was that the only road you found. Am curious though why couldn't u try to find the original dukes farm's ground area? Am not tryin' to rude am just very excited LOL!!!!! Plus at the part 2:05 when the General Lee was chasin' the police at the start of the One Armed Bandit's Ep. It looked like that (well not really no more) farm field area was still there.

  • @GTASA1969 Loved all tha New Oringnal Cov. Con. GA. shots!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 4:11 the bus is still there!

  • Having not seen the original episodes filmed in Georgia, you have now explained the unseen opening credits. Thanks.

  • @geojack71 Glad you enjoyed the video (:

  • How did you find all the landmarks? Is Conyers & Covington, GA a tourist attraction and has tours on what area's the Dukes of Hazzard was filmed?

  • @RichBorris We found these landmarks through different dukes of hazzard fan sites and videos, There are no tours that take you to the sites

  • Awesome , this road trip is fabulous ! Thank you to share it with us.

  • @raphycreations Thank you (:

  • that town changed alot in 30yrs.

  • @mcfuson37 yeah it did

  • This is the most amazing now and then video i've seen in a long time. Perhaps it's because I'm a huge D.O.H. Fan... Great Work!

  • @clipdan Thank you (:

  • Wow. Great video. Excellent work. Can't pay enough compliments. Almost met Sorrell Booke about 30 years ago.. Guess I was about 8....In fact, I would've been the next one to meet him if the idiot usher hadn't roped off the stage and put an end to Booke's public appearance.... Hundreds of kids met him and the line got cut off at me. Me and Boss Hogg actually made eye contact for a split second...he knew I was upset but I didn't blame him one bit...the man had a long day...it was the usher.

  • @mt1221100 Thank you, That must of sucked stupid usher, At least you got to see Sorrell (:

  • Pretty Awesome ! Good job!

  • @cattaraugus41 thank you :)

  • I've never been to Conyers or Covington. From what I can make of the photo's of then and now, that town has not really changed over the years. If the Dukes of Hazzard ever goes back on the air with new episodes and new cast, I hope that it's filmed in Conyers and Covington.

  • @RichBorris if they ever did do a reboot of the series it would be really cool for it to be filmed there. It would be like a modern revival of the series (:

  • Cool to see places now ,time changes everything . But not the Dukes of Hazzard.

  • Nice THX

  • @HEZM2 No Prob

  • well done!!!

  • @tacman1974 Thank You (:

  • Very cool video. I liked the voices of Uncle Jesse, JD Hogg and cast in the background...very nostalgice. You guys did a great job hunting these locations down.

  • @pointmocker Thank you for your comment and im glad that you enjoyed the video (:

  • I would love to go there and see where the original (first 5 episodes) Dukes was filmed. That would be awesome. One of these days......just like getting my own General Lee. C'mon 649! haha

  • Awesome trip down memory lane! Dukes Of Hazzard was truly a great show. There isn't one TV show out now that would still be as popular as the Dukes almost 30 years after the show has been off the air. Timeless classic! The General Lee is the most famous car in the world and for good reason. Coolest automobile on the planet in my opinion.

  • @thebob01 yea your right it is our favourite show and this was a dream come true seeing old hazzard county .hope to go back in the near future and bring some great memories back in a new video.thanks for the comment and hope to see you soon at our weekly cruise night (street classics).

  • excelente video en argentina hay muchos fanaticos de esta serie es buenisimo volver a ver estos lugares thank you

  • How did you find these landmarks?

  • @thegeneral343 Hi, You can find alot of them on google or google maps. There are also some Dukes of Hazzard fan sites that have most of the sites.

  • This brings back good memories :)

  • @kazuragnarok Yeah it does (:

  • @ALCOPRO I laugh at that every time! It sure sounds that way to me.

  • @Mr383Charger That is sad news. When will it be torn down and who do I contact about getting a piece of it?

  • Thank you for posting this. You really worked hard on this and it shows. It's cool to see such a dedicated fan. When I was watching this video, it took me back to those days. It's cool to see the bus is still where the junk yard was. I have a cool dukes story. My family was on a trip to savannah when we stopped at Shoney's to eat. The General Lee was out front and the whole cast inside! I was about 4 years old but will never forget

  • @mascottie Thank you Mascottie. Im glad that you enjoyed video. That a cool story, you must of been really lucky to see the whole cast. The farm is being torn down. Im not sure when they are starting ill inbox you a link with more information becasue youtube won't let me add a link to this comment
