You gotta admire this guy...not only does he play this tune well, but he makes it "his own", and makes it look easy. Must've practiced this a couple times.
awesome playing man. different playing style form the 1978 bash ,..Morse used more of a chicken pickin style of playing also not hitting quite all the notes that Morse hit more of a generalized interpretation but very well done and very fast fingers......BIG PROPS......
This is one of my all-time favorite songs, and this version is absolutely outstanding. Somehow it sounds even smoother than Steve's playing, and Steve is one heck of a smooth player! It all looked so easy and flawless. Fabulous interpretation of a guitar classic!
Please keep in mind that this was a reunion gig & we hadn't played, rehearsed, or seen each other in 3 years. Plus, I was playing on borrowed gear. Other than that, it sure was fun! Thanks for your kind comments.

This guy is a great player. That tune is extremely difficult to learn, and to play it well live? Well, that's a feat in and of itself! Awesome.

you're right about that, but morse's version is so much more fun to watch, the whole band seems to enjoy the freaking battles and and the solo's

that's at least my opinion, no hard feelings if you disagree ;)
cause you're totally right man, it's so smoothly and flawlessly played!

I've never seen the Dregs' live video, I only have the 'Night of the living Dregs' CD. Would that be on the 'Live at Montreux' DVD?
