Our kids are in their mid teens now, but I watch this and remember the constant tiredness, the constant nipping at your head, the silly questions, the complete lack of privacy, the squabbling and all the other stuff that goes with it. The thing is, it's over before you know it, and you kind of miss it.

Dad always read me a story before I went to bed when I was little and like Karen's Dad he did lots of dramatic voices. But when I was about five or six he went back to university while he was working and had lots of late nights etc.

Thus poor Mum was drafted in for story time and like Karen's Mum she just couldn't cut it with the voices and everything. This just takes me back to a time when I was little and so were my brother and sister - it was abetter time for us but maybe not Mum and Dad!

The reason this is fantastic is that it is part scripted , so the director just has the kids say a few lines then just films what they think by there selfs, brilliant.!!!!
