The High line should be a high speed rail line. New York is one of the largest cities in the world doesn't have a light rail system. 50 other cities are building, planning or expanding their popular fast, quiet, light rail systems. The people that wanted it torn down that I knew of were the parking people. Part of the highway lobby.
