The trio here in the death scene in my opinion is one of the loveliest moments in the opera and here is beautifully sung. Bravi to Levine and the 3 performers. This moment never fails to make me cry.
Hadley is a really different Ottavio. The most popular approach is a stodgy, pudgy Dudley Do-Right type of character, but Hadley is a much younger Ottavio with honorable intentions who simply isn't mature enough to fill all of Anna's demands. I really like it - as well as his singing. It's a shame what ended up happening to him.
And it's how Don Ottavio should be like, imho; what he really lacks is not courage or determination, but experience (and this is why the Commendatore's death was a great loss for him as well).
Vanness, like Edda Moser before her, brought a special sort of excitement to Mozart operas that isn't always seen here - though she's always stylistically correct as well. Her entrance line would put many Toscas to shame. And I love her expression at 7:56.
I like Siepi very much but in my opinion this performance of Ramey, Furlanetto and Moll beats most other performances, simply because there's no one in which all three of them are as perfect in this version. As everytime this is only my opinion ;)

I'm not a fan of the lack of veracity in the fight scene, and Vaness was unconvincing before in her confrontation with Don Giovanni.
But voices are great here, and Ferruccio Furlanetto is a genius!
