Next time dont light it on fire it is to hot and will burn off some of the THC therefore making it less potent. But yeah if you dont have any flamless heating elament, then you can just take two pyrex dishes one a bit smaller than the other boil a bunch of water for a while than go outside and pour the boiling water into the larger pan and the iso in the smaller and put the small pan in the big one. It takes a bit longer than the fire but it will be a better smoke.

Ugh this is the result of a major fuck up of Weed Slang. Hash IS made with resin. REAL Resin from the plant! The problem is the black shit in your pipe that people call "resin" is really TAR! Its not resin at all, its tar plain and simple. But because you make hash from resin people think that means you can make it from the tar in their pipes. Smoking Pipe TAR is nasty enough as it is. Smoking pipe TAR that was removed with alcohol is ultra nasty. But this burning it off shit is an abomination!

@skyshark75 Really you can make honey oil with this method of cleaning your pipe. I would not use RA at all. I have made resin oil the real resin oil. Use Acitone as the solvent. Then strain the contents through a coffee filter. redo the process twice. then let it evaporate and you will be surprised at how good it is. Resin or tar which ever you prefer to call it has a good amount of THC in it. The real question is how to process it.

what you do is just steam (hold your pipe over boiling water) for like 7 seconds. then your old burnt leftover weed should scrape off really easy and make your pipe clean as new. and you don't burn what THC you have left in it. I useually tale the leftover"resin" to the stove and smokeit.

My friend used 99% Isopropanol Alcohol and it got everything. We lit it with a torch to dissipate the Iso faster, but you can't keep it lit for too long or you'll start to burn the rez 'n' oil to crust. We got so high from doing blades with it, it works good.

i see you replied to my comment... infact i am correct, go learn something, and after spending 2 minutes looking into it further, it seems thc degrades faster at any temperature above 30°c, the higher, the faster, if its stored for 6 months in low humidity storage thc loss will be up to 90% loss, so i guess you kinda get screwed either way, though i dont yet know why after storage for 3 or 4 months it seems more potent (mabe conversion of chemicals over time or something)

ok i stand corrected, either way it still evaporates due to heat, weather the people who say that if you use a turbo lighter (around 450°c afaik) you will toast/burn more thc off compared to a lower temperature heat source are correct or not is a different story i guess, and you will also find alot of seemingly reliable sources stating temperatures between 130 and 200°c anyway.

and boiling off the thc using a flame on iso isnt a good idea, though i have yet to try bho, it seems easier to make

decomposition of organics...weeds have the tendancy to breakdown fast as the plants have a short life and need to turn over as fast as they can....2-3 months is short enough but not too long....if you kept weed in a vacaum it would last longer, i have made an air tight 'box' that i can do this with...there is no change to my weed for over a year, ...don't know about longer as it never lasts that long!

you can use the vacaum bags that they use for storing clothes...you use a ''hoover'' to suck the air out, you can use the valve (cut it out) and make a vacbox...they are easy to do if you have the right sealant and box.

ISO Hash and Butane hash ARE THE SAME THING! It's just easier to get a more pure substance using butane. If you're real' concerned with the purity of your product then only wash the bud with ISO for 5-10 seconds, let it dry, and wash it once more.

If you're REALLY concerned about the quality of your product you shouldn't be using any solvents at all. Sift your bud over a fine screen (not your space case) or use ice water.

1) ur gonna need 3 jars

2) first jar have ur weed in , fill with iso until all weed is covered shake for 20 seconds ONLY

3)take that liquid pass threw metal screen into new jar to get leaf matter out

4)take that and screen threw coffee filter into glass dish

5) PURGE with boiling water.
