This is the first song my son sang. When he was 1 year old he would just look at people and tell them "this is indian country" and then start singing Sadie Buck's traditional part. To bad there is not more of the Six Nations Women's Singers music on U-Tube, they are wonderful!
I first heard this song in the American Indian Museum in Washington DC, during the visual show. It´s wonderful and full of empathy for the true Nations of America!!
Robbie is Mohawk and they live in both Canada and the States. Yes, he does indeed speak for us.
