  • wow that was a very poignant speech.

  • why people boo shawn micheal, again?

  • Flair is and always will be GOD.

  • Man, mentioning his ex wives is pure class. Solid move.

  • Ric Flair is the greatest wrestler of all time and is the reason i watch wrestling. His retirement was sad but flair has done it all and beaten them all nothing to prove to anyone and will be a everlasting legend in my book.

  • lol big show always crying

  • lol, Big Show :)

  • I love Flair, but I think Bret Hart was a better technician & a better story teller in the ring. Psychology wise. Flair could go for an hour & make pretty much make ANYbody look good. I think Bret had that ability too, to make others look good. Flair though has the advantage of being old enough to be a Champ in the territory days. IMO Bret could have pulled it off too if he was in his prime & given the chance.

  • Ok I'm pissed off! I'm watchin tna and ric flair is on tna!! Hulk hogan is now and tna too.. Can this get any worse? If like dx or undertaker or anyother great wrestler left in wwe go tna like jeff hardy did... I'm gonna quit watchin wrestling...

  • @band316 guys like undertaker dx Triple H are too loyal to WWE

  • they da back bone of wwe

dey gonna stay wid wwe till dey die

i fink rey mysterio or cena cud end up in tna

  • @band316 Jeff hardy didn't leave WWE he was let go Due to the drug trial he is facing. he had been suspended a bunch of times and fired once for drug use. now is on trial for possesion after the cops did a raid on his house, with the amount found they are going to try to get him for possesion for the purposes of trafficing, WWE did not want him with their company while this was all going on. TNA has no drug testing policy.

  • i saw him take on hogan awesome show my first and i saw the best of the best take eachother on WOOOOH

  • Ric is such a sweetie. Really, he's the nicest guy in a business filled with not so nice guys. He's really passionate and he's not afraid to show his emotions. You gotta love that.

  • kind of ironic that they made him the dirtiest player in the game

  • God, I fucking hate Batista. Talentless waster.

  • Did this take place before his final match with Shawn Michaels?

  • A day before

  • Weird look on Triple H's face when Flair was praising him. He looked so...I dunno.

  • You negative jackasses!!! He is one of the best of all time and I know this guy. Why don't you show respect for him being you never have done anything yourself instead of complaining about him.

  • Thank you for saying the truth!!

  • Ric Flair by far was the best in the wrestling business!! He talk the talk and walk the walk!!! I miss him already!!

  • that was so awesome...shit I even got emotional watching this! what a great and fun entertainer he was

  • Ric Flair is allowed to be emotional, he put his body at risk for over 30 years. He's one of the most respected wrestlers of all time. <3 and respect for Ric Flair.

  • I was hoping they would have Scott Steiner give the speech inducting Flair into the HOF.

I am sure Bret Hart, Manny Fernandez and Bruno Sammartino would have a few glowing words as well.

  • scott said everyone use to pick on rick in wcw

  • I was never a Flair fan but he had great matches with some great wrestlers--but overall I found his matches boring; why the hell did he go out of his way to diss Bret and Bruno? Is is really personal-which would still suck--or was Don Vilnnie involved?

  • haha rick flair is a baby.... he cries more than a teenage girl.

  • it is a big emotional moment in someone's life, you try wrestling for 30 years busting your body up and then maybe you would understand. i'm not a wrestler but i understand it

  • LOL dont forget hulk hogan and Mick Foley....flair is a true piece of shit no respect for fellow wrestlers. This piece of shit has the balls to say that Bret Hart was nothing more than a mid card performer and has never generated revenue for the wrestling business. He said the same for Hulk Hogan as well.....FUCK YOU FLAIR YOU PIECE OF DOG SHIT NO RESPECT FROM ME.

  • Bret never wrestled anybody--funny, I seem to remember Flair getting his ass kicked every time he stepped into the ring with the Road Warriors, unless he also had the other 3 Horsemen and JJ Dillion with him; the Hart Foundation did a lot better--ditto with Undertaker and Shawn Michaels; I give Flair this: the level of his competiiton was better-just that he did not look better with them.

  • do you honestly think the nature boy cares if a bunch of youtubers have repect for him or not?

  • LMFAo no he probably doesnt care about me....but he does cry when scott stiener bret hart mick foley bruno samartino scott hall and kevin nash and much much more dont have respect for him....he doesnt deserve nothing.

  • the problem is all the people you just named off, nobody else in the business has any respect for them haha

  • @2WIREG I lost waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more respect 4 him when he joined TNA

  • @MeThinks995 why wwe was to call him and tna called first with a big pay check

  • yes.

  • The best there have ever been, and will ever be... :D

  • flair kicks ass! we love you ric

  • Thats an absolute fantastic speech

  • Ric Flair deserved this. After 36 years he accomplished so much throughout his carreer. No doubt he was the best ever and its great to know he took his rightful place in wrestling history. Long live the Legend of The Nature Boy Ric Flair.

  • Ric flair is one of the best to ever live.

  • is that batista's son @ 1:28???

  • I think it is. :o

  • One of the best speeches ever.

  • whooooooooo!

  • Like it or not, Ric flair is the best there was in this buisness. There will be no other ric flair. Myself i have only one thing to say tho that man.

    Thank you Ric Flair.

  • to alldback man what a way 2 say something man triple h isn't overated not the best though btw ric flair will always be one of the best and he's a pimp for havin those kinda of wifes

  • go fuck yourself

  • Check out this video at the 9:29 mark. WTF? Was Shawn's wife washing floors and cleaning the house before she came to the HOF ceremony, lol?

  • i was crying.and my dad came in and said"whats wrong"i said "look at the t.v."a few mins. later my dad started crying

  • YES! Found it.

Ric Flair is critised for being a total rip-off.

He stoled his style, his hair, his moves, EVERTYHING! This is the REAL DEAL!

He stold Buddy Rogers gimmic and made it to Ric Flair.

BUDDY ROGERS is the true nature boy.

Search on youtube for Buddy Rogers!

  • Everybody calls Ric Flair the greatest wrestler of all time but it's complete bullshit. He stole everything and I mean everything from Buddy Rogers. He stole the strutt, the bleached blond hair, the figure four leglock, and the Nature boy nickname. The only thing Ric Flair came up with himself was that stupid Whooooooo! He completely ripped off Buddy Rogers because he lacked the creativity to make up something original.

  • you are do damn right.

  • No he isn't and he copied that comment from another video, they wrestled nothing alike. Gorgeous George was the first to have the bleached blonde hair and fancy rhobes and the strutt, but no one gets at Buddy for that. They did the figure four and had the same nickname and that is all. The guy obviously hasn't seen Rogers wrestle because Flair and Rogers are different, Flair is much more influenced by a wrestler called Ray Stevens.

  • actually no, flair admits it in his dvd that he copied rogers style.

  • well I've watched Rogers and they don't have a similar style. Flair always maintains his main influence is Ray Stevens. Ray was the first guy to do that roll over the turnbuckle, and "begged for mercy" just like Flair would do in the future. He was the same build as Flair aswell. Plus it was Jim Crockket who advised him to take up the "Nature Boy" name in 1978 in Mid-Atlantic. Flair was also heavily influenced by Gorgeous George and Johnny Valentine. So he didn't base his style on one wrestler.

  • you can gargle in your own beliefs all you want. The fact is he took the nature boys name, arrogance, and finishing hold. He also copied superstar billy graham at one point. If you ever watch his pose in the ring he got that from SBG. You should quit while you are down. Ray Stevens did not train flair at all.

  • guess you've never read his book, both those guys you've mentioned never trained him either, he was trained by Verne Gagne. Before you get ahead of yourself watch some of Ray Stevens first, and read Flair's book where he talks about his trips accross America with Johnny Valentine, and how much he admired Ray Stevens style. Plus Ray was around before Billy Graham, add to that Graham started in San Francisco where Stevens was the biggest star, so Graham probably got that pose from Stevens.

  • Also Gorgeous George was the first to use the bleached blonde hair, the fancy rhobes, have entrance music and act arrogant in the ring. Flair took his name and his finishing move. Flair's personality, ring work and promos were all a creation of his own. Rogers interviews were nothing like Flair's, they were more alike to someone like Nick Bockwinkel.

  • All this sounds like Flair ripped off both Gorgeous George and Buddy Rogers and he was not too subtle or honest about doing it.

By the way, I have not heard all of Flair's HOF speech--did he pay tribute to George and Buddy?

  • Wonder what the original Nature Boy thought of how Flair stole his gimmick?

  • as good as he was on the mic,he had to read every word of this looking DOWN thanks for the mems... ric...

  • Wooo! he mentioned Benoit's name during this speech

  • *raises coffee cup* Thank YOU, Ric...

  • anybody have the full speech on their channel of flair talking about stonecold?

  • thank you ric

  • I remember seeing Ric when he won his very first world championship by beating Harley Race. I remember seeing him lose the Championship for the 1st time. I remember when he was a tag team champ with Greg "the hammer" Valentine. I remember when he was the U.S. champ... and I remember everything in between. I remember seeing him win his very last World Heavyweight Championship. I remember it all. I hate to see this guy go. He truely is the greatest World Champion of all time. Thank You Ric !!!

  • he beat Dusty for his first NWA title

  • just keep this comment 4 u,no one agrres with u,he was da best, that s it

  • Ric Flair is gold!!
