I was at the game and we sang Larsson songs throughout the whole match. He even refused to celebrate when he scored which I don't think I've ever seen before. Folks, started watching the beloved hoops early eighties when I was wee. Charlie Nicholas was the hero then. My dad was in Lisbon to see the Lions, but I told his Larsson was THE best player I have ever seen grace the Hoops. @wdspoon1 Larsson is an absolute legend for the club and would still run rings round any team in the SPL even now. The boos were for Ronaldinho. I was at the game and we sang Larsson songs throughout the whole match. He even refused to celebrate when he scored which I don't think I've ever seen before. The man is a gentleman and a Celtic hero and there is not a single Celtic fan that would disrespect him in that way.

when he was in the crowd during the game where celtic beat aberdeen 9-0, he got a standing ovation from every single celtic fan(and a few aberdonians) also showing that he was more important to this club and its fans than any individual game ever.

think what made henrik the player that he was was his modesty and how he controlled his ego, just a beautiful genuinly lovely man. i remember i got a ticket in the directors box throught the then physio brian scott and i spoke to henrik and chris sutton and i was about 8 or 9 and he asked me if i played and what position and i said striker and he said maybe one day you can replace this guy here as my strike partner lol

For me he actually won the champions league for Barca....when he came on he made a difference. Iniesta's pass for Eto'o was flicked on by larsson n then the 2nd for belletti was played in by larsson. And thats with the likes of ronaldhino (at the time), xabi, giuly, iniesta, etc in the team!

Folks, started watching the beloved hoops early eighties when I was wee. Charlie Nicholas was the hero then. My dad was in Lisbon to see the Lions, but I told his Larsson was THE best player I have ever seen grace the Hoops. Asked him if Henke would have got a game in Lions team and he said '1st name on team sheet'. I rest my case.
