some mis-information here. first of all, the CSX operated a regular schedule run thru here until the mid 80's when the tracks were removed. the tracks were removed because too many curious people were using the right of way as a means of getting to the tunnel, and because the future of the chessie system was in doubt and they wanted to make it difficult for any competing road to use the acquired right-of-way. contrary to what the lady says, the abutments were left behind and many are still there

Keep up the great work! I am a native Ohioan now living out West. But Moonville is such a powerful place and my favorite place in all of Ohio.
