  • I'm 6 feet 145 pounds and I'm too fat to do male modeling

  • She's 5'8.5 actually, Not that it matters much.

  • For instance at 4:00 Kelly Clarkson's original image, she does NOT look fat at all. She looks beautiful, and at a perfectly fine weight.

  • The way western fashion views a woman's weight today is just so sad. I rarely see a woman who I actually think is not attractive, and when a woman has a healthy amount of skin on her I think that's more ideal any of this super skinny nonsense.

  • makes me sick i want fat models

  • I suppose next they will complain that only tall thin guys get to be toy soldiers in Xmas Nutcracker performances. If people with average bodies are models, the very word model becomes meaningless.

  • U GUYS R FUCKING ASSHOLES. FIRED FOR BEING FAT! WHATS THE WORLD COMING TO!!

  • Here is my questions: Do male models have a weight requirement? Are there male models who are 5'11 and only weigh 130 lbs.? If the clothes Only look good on models shaped like hangers, than who are the people buying the fashions... do they look like hangers, too? In otherwords, the only people who would look good in these crappy fashions are these toothpick models! The average-shaped consumers could not possibly look good in these clothes! We should Boycott Ralph Lauren for being an Asshole!

  • @CheriS33 cried the bitter fatty..

  • after living in a society were skinny is "nice" and fat is horrible, i have ended up thinking that a skinny girl = beautiful girl. We've got thin as hell models and actress, and they are drop dead gorgeous, who looks bad in a chanel dress and perfect make up? So we blame others and the media but the truth is people keeps using skinny as a synonym of beauty, if public really hated skinny models, do you think fashion designers would still use them? think about it, we are as guilty as they are

  • If you wanna eat...don't be a model.

    Done.

  • 0:55 0.o what the f---???

  • I dont even own a single ralph lauren peice of clothing. Im guessing the reason they want them to be so skinny, is because its less material they have to use to design and create the outfits. -I do work at a fabric store, and this is the only logic I could come up with

  • 0:49 lousiest Photoshop work ever!

  • Guess what, to be a model you need to be really skinny. If you gain weight, you can't be a model. Just like if a doctor loses his ability to diagnose patients, he can't be a doctor. This is not sexism, this is just how the fashion industry appeals to the public.

  • fact=fat girls are unattractive, like or not...RL is about fashion and they have to sell beauty not american obesity...

  • You maybe right. But the fashion industries are creating their own rules. They get to say who's fat and who's not or who's tall and who's not. They can even say 5' 10" is too short. Fucking unfair. It's all politics.

  • @saviz03 That's your opinion. There are men that indeed exist...that like fat (not average sized...or women with "curves" no...) FAT women with rolls hanging out and gelatin spewing over their jeans.

And the opposite of super thin is not obese, get a clue kid. No one said they need to go from selling clothes with annorexic looking models to having some chick that is a product of too much McDonalds chicken Mcnuggets and chocolate milkshakes walking down the runway with her blubber flappin' out.

  • Super thin models (or more, the companies that encourage them) really make me sick. Clothes are for people, not hangers. And yet I also don't like how obesity can hide behind the "durp. real women have curves" mask and therefore be accepted. Curves are not the same thing as rolls.

Health should equal beauty. Models shouldn't be too skinny and they shouldn't be too big either.

  • How to get over 2500 views per night while you are asleep. Its so easy when you use Y2BVIEWS COM its so easy, and 100% REAL views!

  • Most of the fashion designers are gay males who like the look of little boys not curvy women. Also, the whole beauty industry would die if it didn't work so hard to convince women they were too fat, too old, too ugly, etc. If we felt happy about ourselves we wouldn't buy beauty products, therefore bankrupting the multi billion dollar beauty industry. They need us to feel unhappy about our looks to capitalize on it. This is the evil side of capitalism.

  • @MsAgnosticatheist

It more has to do with the fact that they want women who look like coat hangers so they don't have to worry about designing clothes that would look decent on a real woman. Even the straight male fashion designers and female designers are guilty of it.

  • Designers are suppose to design clothes for women not hangers. Clothes that are made well look better on healthy people, period. If their clothes only look good on super thin girls it means they are not good at their jobs, and they are hack designers.

  • People's concept of what is "normal" now has been skewed, because being overweight is almost the norm and it has been rammed down our throats that being obese is "beautiful". Is isn't!!! Fat is not beautiful, fat is unhealthy and also unattractive.

  • @Gary190tube I agree with you a hundred percent man. People weren't this big even two hundred years ago. Now not only is it a common thing for people to be overweight but now we have to make them feel beautiful. Okay don't get me wrong there is a big difference between chubby and obese. But why do we have to make people who are too lazy to work out feel like they are equally attractive as a person of average weight. We don't commendpeople for bein too lazyto take ashower and say they smell great

  • Truth is Ralph Lauren could chose to let go a model that fit samples perfectly. At some point these companies decide that people have seen the same face in their ads for many years and may decide that a new face is needed.

  • She's a model- deal with it. They hire you because of your looks- if they don't like your looks for whatever reason they have the legal right to cut you loose. It's a fickle business, if you don't like it then don't work in it.

  • How dare a chubbie say people in Japan have eating.disorders!! They just don't eat everything that can't run fast enough like you!!

  • Of course pictures of that chubbie got rave reviews from chubbies!! Duh!! No they get to forget about that nasty sweating running stuff and go back to eating on the couch watching Oprah again!!

  • @martinishot Have you ever heard of a concept called ''body types''?

Human bodies can be categorized under three types.Ectomorphes (tall, lanky, low fat and muscle percentage), endomorphes (sturdy built with curves, high body fat and big bones) and mesomorphes (athletic, low fat and high muscle percentage).Runway models are almost always ectomorphes but that doesn't mean they are more beautiful than any other types, they just serve the purpose of showing off clothes.

  • @miellikkiful But ectomorphes will more likely have prominent jawline and cheekbones which is also desired. They are much less likely to have round faces. Nobody is being prevented from designing for larger women. If these designers do not take advantage of that market, someone should step in and do it.

  • @martinishot That ''overweight'' model was beautiful. She was a highly photogenic endomorph, no amount of diets can change what her genetic code is.If she tried to be anyone other than herself she would probably become aneroxic. That chubby look is actually her ideal weight!

I am a mesomorph, runway models are mostly ectomorphes and that model was an endomorph.I would look horrifiying if I was skinny as hell, so would that model. What should matter isn't ones looks, it's about bloody health!

  • @miellikkiful That model takes in more calories than her body uses, simple as that.150 years ago I bet she would weigh much less because her food would not be waiting in the fridge for her,she would have to grow and harvest it thus using calories.U.S U.K. and AU are the fattest nations on earth and people have a completely twisted perception of what ideal weight is now.Eastern Europe is now the place NY agencies look for models because they are thinner and don't live decadent lives in comparison.

  • @martinishot Nope, it's all about your genes.Eastern Europeans tend to have ectomorphic properties while, as an example, Mediterranian people tend to lean to the endomorphic type.Don't get me wrong, I'm not talking about obesity or being overweight, simply about body types. My concern is that not everyone has the ideal genetic code to be like a runway model, so people should stop risking their healths to look like one.

  • @miellikkiful More to it than genes. There are Americans I see who are actually Eastern European in decent, but their relatives back home only have access to basic food staples. Meanwhile they like all Americans have had access to artificialy fatty, highly processed, and empty calorie foods making them larger.80% of what fills a typical american supermarket is crap and is part of the obesity problem here.Add to that the over reliance on cars while in Eastern Europe people walk or bike everywhere.

  • @miellikkiful I agree that very few teens have the body type the fashion industry seeks out and that would also apply to the NBA. I don't think they want everyone to conform to it,you can buy what you see in shows in larger sizes. The models are walking coathangers that require less costly material to make samples for. NBA players are also genetic freaks that do not at all represent average males but I do not hear males complaining that they have poor self body image simply watching a game.

  • @martinishot

That's a sport, taller people in basket ball can shoot better and grab more rebounds than shorter players. There is no real reason to have rail thin models other than the designer is crap and can't make their outfits look as good on normal women. Also, if you've made clothes you know that each size up is barley any more fabric or work.

  • @AyanaLinval No rebounding excuses!! Tall thin players can make men and boys feel bad about their short wide bodies!! How dare you!! And that beached walrus they showed requires barely any more fabric than a Paris runway model? Paalease!! Paris, Milan, London, and NY will not design for people whose hobby is eating. All society has gotten fat in the last 50 years and designers will not adapt to it. Good!!!

  • @martinishot

I really hope that you are kidding, and that this is a joke else I'd start to think that you are missing a few brain cells. In Basketball height is 100% about being able to get the ball before the other person. If you're taller than you have an easier time getting the ball. Being tall and thin is ok, but being tall and wide is better because you can block better. Size in Basketball is practical, size 0 in fashion is for slack designers.

  • Futhermore, have you even actually sewn anything? Have you looked at a pattern? Do you honestly know the difference between a size 0 and a size 6? It's practically nothing, NOTHING. The issue is not about over weight women on the cat walk, it's about normal sized women on the cat walk. 50 years ago the average size for women in fashion was 6-10, the only thing changing is the designers. Marilyn Monroe was a size 10, healthy and more beautiful than any of those poles they have up on the runway

  • It's fine if they don't use size 16 models on the runway, but when you're getting to the point where size 4-6 is considered fat, especially at their height, then you have a problem. There have been girls as young as 18 having heart attacks on the runway because they are so thin that their bodies eat their hearts. So no, it's not a good thing that the designers are refusing to change. They refuse to change because mistakes are easier to hide on a thin model because you don't see the shape.

  • @msiloveshoes; Most people in Japan are thinner--that doesn't mean they have eating disorders. I think it's America that's obsessed with being thin.

  • Comment removed

  • I agree with the male tv host on this program, they might as well wheel hanger style mannequins down the runway because this sh*t is getting ridiculous! Shame on you Ralph Lauren for 'okaying' these kind of dumb ass images on women. You are truly foul!

  • I agree nobody at that height (5'10) should weight 120 pounds. You should be 5'4 and under at that weight range! 160 is where she should be and she would look healthy and fit. I'm 5'1 and when I get down to 115 or lower you start seeing some chest bone so I only imagine how ghastly she must look. I also think it was horrid for them to run that ad in Japan because they have serious eating disorders over there. Being severely underweight also ages you.

  • I'd Kill to be a size 4 and I'm only 5' tall.

  • Not only is she nowhere near fat; she's actually ANOREXIC. O_O Her BMI is in an unhealthy range; it's about 17 when healthy is 18.5 - 24.9.

They should have fired her for being anorexic, and the photo should have been shopped' to make her look like she weighs around 160 pounds; a more normal weight for someone who is 5'10.

  • This...this is sick.

  • fat biatch

  • Girls That Love Handbags, confirm here. * GirlieRewards. Info *

  • yo why do thery worry I mean its up to them whether they get fired or not

  • being that height and weight is actually normal for a fashion model. i love a skinny girl but i think eating disorers are disgusting

  • The pic of the model looks reminds me of those funny mirrors at fun fairs or the circus

  • No "plumpers" on my watch dowg...

  • that pic is pretty gross looking

  • There is nothing wrong with firing a model for being too fat. they are hired for their looks. If people were really in danger of becoming too thin because of the example of the modeling industry, then girls would not become fatter every year at a younger age. Its being over weight thats the real health problem.

  • @lollipopfop That's total BS! The models are constantly pressured to be a size zero and not eat. I went thorough the same thing and it pisses me off when people say eating disorder aren't as issue or something like that. Yes it IS and issue and being obese is too. They're both a health problem.

  • What is really unacceptable is that the news reporters do not know their facts.. she mentions she doesn't remember who Chanel's designer is... doesn't she have cue cards??? For her information it is karl Lagerfeld and I believe that the waifish look on models should be left as it is because the clothes look better on them than if they were fat women modeling them

  • as a lad i wouldnt want a girl with no curves skinny as anything like the photoshopped image. id like one with weight on her at least. girls shouldnt be botherd about there weight!

  • wow you're so off... now ralph lauren is responsible for everyone's bad self-esteem problems. i don't agree with the public opinion on what's hot, i think it's too skinny myself as well, but they aren't to blame. it's called SELFSELFSELFSELF-esteem. not I'M NOT LIKE RALPH LAUREN esteem. if you're fat, rock it. it's sexier when someone can rock what they have and be confident in it whether "too" fat or skinny instead of being self conscious with a rockin' normal model body.

  • That is so sad. Stupid Ralph Lauren! Do they know the message they are sending to girls any age who have self confidence issues? Basically that everyone is fat and never thin enough. I think girls who are NOT underweight like Jessica Simpson are the best looking. And I'm talking about her because of all the stupid comments by people that she got "fat"

    That really bothers me. :(

  • Oh the picture at 0:50 is awfull, no even a woman body....

  • that picture with that ralph lauren campaign does not look realistic at all or very attractive!

  • It's always amazed me that homosexual men basically set the agenda in women's fashion.

It's like asking a vegetarian to design the menu at a burger joint...

This is why most models resemble 14 year old boys.

  • WHAT THE HECK?!?!? that picture is horrible! They should fire the photoshop person!

  • size 4, 5'10, and weighing 120 pounds? i wood fuck the shit out of her. toss her like a dam salad :D

  • The fashion industry is a fucking disgrace!!! She could be 20, 30, or 40 or so pounds heavier and still be incredibly gorgeous!!!

  • Only if it was all muscle.

  • God no wonder we have so many eating disorders now days, the girl who was pictured naked in my opinion was stunning, what a fantastic role model, unfortuntely its the others that let our beautiful teenage girls and boys down.....

  • I thought this was legal. Its all about looks, like in acting you wouldn't hire a black man to play a white supremacist. Wrong, but legal

  • If she is the same weight as she was aged 15, she is not healthy. She is too thin.

  • It's... I don't know how to... yeah. It's all because women see some pictures and they wan tot buy certain products to look that way---when no one does. It's such bull crap. I can't even think about it more-makes me...

  • i fucking hate girls that acually think they need tobe super skinny

  • omfg she is to skinny, im 120 pounds also lol

  • so many uneducated people that will do anythng for you tube lolol

  • wow she's already thin what are they tryin to do? Kill her? Ralph Lauren ppl are dumbass cunts and their shit is not so good anyway.

  • There's the possibility that the company wanted to fire her because she was annoying or for some other reason, and just used the 'too fat' thing as an excuse.

  • I don't really agree with you, because Ralph Lauren loves to sign "exclusive contract" with some teen models like Lonneke Engel(13 yrs) or Filippa that was 15 yrs old at the time, she signed with Ralph the day after she arrived in New York. Now,They thanked Lonneke 2 or 3 years ago,but she signed in 1995,that's a long contract!Filippa last only 7 years and she hasn't the same size she had when she was 15yrs old;her father is a nutritionist and she never goes againts her father advice!Role model

  • For everyone that keeps asking why the fashion industry wants all these skinny women: it's because they really want to photograph 12yr old boys in their designer clothes. Can't get the 12yr old boy? Get a 20 yr old girl with no chest or hips!

  • @ketowyne It's also because the skinnier the girls are, the more like hangers they become.Designers don't want to sell models, they want to sell clothes- they want the clothes to be the main attraction, so the girls have to get smaller and smaller..

  • wtf? she's hot. and that pic is disgusting

  • And I also don't understand why these fashion people want THESE skinny woman. I'm quite sure normal men, heck, normal PEOPLE think the 'ultimate' female is less skinny and has more curves than the average model. They are indeed, just mental. That's the only explanation.

  • raplh lauren is an idiot

  • You're joking right w9j15g?

Woman are loosing self esteem because they constantly get this picture of the 'female to be' that very skinny, and it's a goal that for many woman is not even realistic. That's what Ralph Lauren is helping. That's braking down self esteem, not encouraging to loose weight. Not in that way.

  • No, Ralph Lauren is causing girls (yes, girls) to think poorly of themselves, turning them belemic and anorexic. And it makes that overweight women feel bad about themselves too. So if making everyone feel horrible and giving them dieases is "encouragement", then Fox News isn't fixed.

  • It takes way more than body image issues to develop eating disorders.

  • are you joking? attempting to be super skinny kills too, asshole!

  • they make these prortype clothes as small as possible to make them as inexpensive as possible - and the girls need to fit in them THATS the job! its about the clothes.

  • shes gotta fit in the rack stuff - or shes out. Thats the job.

  • Dumbass'! You work in a superficial industry that projects images on women that make them feel bad that they are "fat"!

No shit! You signed up as a model. HOW DID YOU NOT SEE THIS COMING! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!?

  • I'm just surprised people are astonished by this crap. This has been the status quo for years. One of ANTM models was told to lose weight after she was hired by a clothing catalog and she was already 5'10,120 lbs. I say keep doing what you're doing R.L., people are just going to keep buying your stuff anyway. People need to put up (keep their money in their pockets) or shut up.

  • TYT, the shocker here is that we live in a society where vanity has reached such extremes and that you can create employment out of being good-looking, not some girl getting fired.

  • curves = hot girl

    no curvs = lil boy

  • @rggrudy2 are you saying fatties are hot? fuck that. your gay

  • @kai696 Actually, YOU sound gay. Women are supposed to have curves. Some women (and indeed people) are overweight, this is true. But, if your type of women is stick thin and anorexic looking, then I'd say you are more likely to be gay than some guy who likes curvy tits and ass on a woman.

You should get yourself a Phillipino houseboy and buy some fucking Judy Garland albums, bud.

  • @eezysqueezy LMFAO well played sir! I had a chuckle over that so I gotta say you win. (:

  • If by curves you mean Beyonce or Jennifer Lopez than yes that is sexy. but if you mean kelly clarkson or america ferrera, than you're way off.

  • @shoponline831 But why am I way off? Because YOU don't like it, because vogue tells me what I should and shouldn't like? NO, I'm spot on because I know what I like and what I don't.

PS Kelly Clarkson and America Ferrera look way more normal and healthy than most of the women sent down runways in the name of fashion by an industry run by homosexual men who don't appreciate the 'womanly' look anyway...

  • @rggrudy2 HELL YEA

  • @rggrudy2 girls with an ass like a lil boy = hot

  • @rggrudy2

Yeah but theres a big difference between curvy and overweight.

  • A fucking models only job is to stay thin and look good. I have no problem with her being fired.

  • I dont why its such a big deal. She was unable to fit the sample clothes that Raulph Lauren makes for their lines, and is therefore subject to termination. She violated the contract, Raulph Lauren was just upholding the agreement.

Should Raulph Lauren explicitly say that they are promoting anorexia, it would be an issue. Btw... if you are confident with your look, your size wouldn't matter.

  • And did you miss, or just completely ignore, the part of the story that mentioned that her weight has not fluctuated since she was originally hired? Her size hasn't changed, but his specifications have. Therefore, the breach is on his end, not hers.

  • oh indeed i missed it... i got bored of the video.

Then you are right, Raulph Lauren should be liable for wrongful dismissal.

  • Is there anybody who thinks those skeletons are sexy?

I'm just a guy, and for me a sexy woman has curves! I will dismiss 100 skeletons for a girl with boobs and i nice and round butt!! I'm white by the way!

  • You seem to have a robotic perception of the world, without an awareness of how those perceptions came about. Here's your flaw in your argument. Somewhere along the way your preferences were influenced either by friends, family, or the media. No man's an island.

  • fuck Ralph Lauren, and fuck the fashion indistry's standards.

  • blonde news reporter is hot

  • Isn't weight discipline a big part of being a model?

If Ralph Lauren can find people to do what this woman can't, he's entitled to fire her.

  • huh? even when it promotes starvation and anorexia? this is seriously unhealthy, not to mention ridiculous?

  • Yes he is entitled to fire her.....and cause how many young girls to become anorexic.

All these so called fashion designers {who by the way I think all their clothes are hideous} are telling young girls that to be considered attractive you have to look like a skeleton with skin. Good job Ralph, you jackass

  • Well, incomprehensions abound then. Being "too" skinny and "too" heavy are both problems. We can focus on both at the same time. I find it naive that you seem to think your perceptions of beauty simply rose out of your head, like Athena. Nor can I understand your view that we should just discard anyone who's not 'strong' enough to resist being swayed by the images they see in the media. Not everyone turns anorexic but it creates an atmosphere of constant dissatisfaction among perfectly fine ppl.

  • From a moral standpoint, I understand that it is wrong to fire someone for being "too fat" (even though she seems perfectly fine).

From a legal standpoint, however, if her contract explicitly stated a weight limit and she exceeded it, then she did fail to meet the obligations of her contract.

This is no different than a bank calling out a debtor on a loan because the debtor failed to meet the debt covenant.

  • 5ft 10 inches minimum weight to not be considered underweight is 129 lbs. Max weight at 5" 10' before you are considered overweight is 173 lbs. Search the web for BMI calculators to find out your own BMI range.

  • FYI bmi is technically a Bullshit measurment of health even doctors are trying to move away from it.

  • It's a measure of overweightness...meaning if somebody of a certain size is carrying too much mass. I know it's not a direct correlation of a persons health.

  • i'm fully aware of that

  • WTF does Ralph Lauren think is actually attractive about that look?????

  • Daaayum, i just saw a beautfiul girl's private webcam show 4 free. She is fkn amazing, squirting and all , i seen it at

    rockingvids,com

  • Looking like a cartoon is in in japan. That picture was show only in japan. Its hard to compete with 2d character prefection.

  • Poor lady shes probably going to get depressed and get REALLY fat.

  • or anorexic.

  • Boycott these Fashion Nazi's

  • Lose some weight tubby!

  • MOST bullshit? really?

So cutting off womens clitoris, having multiple wives, denying modern medicine, thats all ok in ur book?

Either that or u know very little of other Churches.

  • Nope, church makes no decisions for me, or any Catholic that I know of. I like to read what the pope says and the our local Bishop, then I take what they say with a grain of salt and analyze it for anything that is relevant to me.

Anything I don't like, I ignore. Its my right as a Catholic, and stems from the fact that I'm a different person then the individual clergy. Im sorry u had such a bad personal experience, but rest assured it had nothing to do with the Church, probably some local moron.

  • The creators of photoshop should sue, because that is just embarrassing.

  • she's curvy not fat!!!

  • anyone have sex while planet earth is on? Really peaceful, I did just now

  • Oh gawd, that photoshop job is terrible. Are they serious? If they were doing this as an surreal art image I can understand. Oh yeah, she couldn't fit into "their" sizes. What people fail to realize is that no size is ever made the same. I go through that crap often trying to buy pants. So I just get the same ones that I know work. And even then I can tell if there is a change in the material, dye, etc...

  • Oh gawd, why don't they just start featuring models that are "REAL" women. It might change views. I never understood all this "skinny model shit". So we still haven't gotten pass the whole Kate Moss image. O-kay. Weight discrimination. If they want to know "fat" try not being able to get through a door or breaking furniture.

  • Once again The Young Turds come down on the side of censoring free speech. Of course, no Young Turd is complaining that EBONY magazine discriminates against non-black models. It's thier magazine, it's thier job offer, it's thier choice. If you don't like it, don't buy it. If the clothes don't fit, you must acquit.

  • funny how all these comments are like ITS WHITE PEOPLE'S FAULT, if somebody had said something was black people's fault they would be called RACIST

on the other hand at least most black men find women with big asses hot (which i agree with)

  • People who are into women that thin are freaks. It's much sexier to have some meat around your bones. That model is too thin as it is for my taste...

  • Haha, the retard industry of stupidity strikes back.

A model is useless as a human being in nearly all ways. Seriously, she/he is a whore. The only difference is that a prostitute actually does something for her money, while these models... they... I don't even know what they do. They stand. Eh... and... walk.

    Fuck em. Fuck em hard.

  • i agree this is a white people fault for this one and mostly is a white problem as well.

  • AGREE!

  • She looks like a Praying Mantis in that Ralph Lauren ad, lol.

  • Hey nobody likes fat people. If you're 120 lbs then too bad for you. Skinny as twigs and beautiful is what the now is. I mean sure you could be a smart heavier set woman but who wants that?! Beauty is on the outside and that's what really matters. I mean come on if it wasn't for Obama being black we would of had a hot looking VP possibly running U.S.A. Who cares that she's dumber than a loaf of bread. She was hot and a milf someone we can all agree with. That's all that counts. Sarcasm btw.

  • skinnier people = less material for clothes. maximize profits?

or the people in charge of the industry either hate women or have a major fetish for scarecrows and skeletons

  • I'm going with the "hate women" hypothesis.

  • Don't buy Ralph Lauren. Ralph Lauren is lying.

  • Cenk ~ If you read about the Dove scandal a few years back, when Dove had a ad featuring realistically-sized woman, many men, including Richard Roeper (aka. not Ebert) made some very harsh remarks in response.

Perceptions about size have changed over the course of time, progressively getting skinier. Eating disorders are on the rise amongst grade schoolers.

Alot of men don't know what a real woman looks like. This is no longer about producing healthy offspring, but media influence.

  • boooooo ralph lauren booo

  • I remember Twiggy. She was considered very skinny then. I bet she wasn't much thinner than models are now.

  • She is too fat. I mean 120 pounds! Seriously, it's time to drop the cheeseburgers ( and 90 lbs).

  • Shut up you ignorant bastard. You're probably some obese balding male who can't get anyone as gorgeous as Filippa if you died trying.

Kepp on jacking off in front of your computer dude.

  • You got something against jacking off in front of the computer? Isn't that what the internet is for? I guess I've been missguided, and I probably need a new keyboard instead of this sticky one.

  • Whats ironic though, why would she stay with ralph lauren or want to stay except that so many people worship that almighty dollar......

  • what a fatty...

  • She's a size 4, which in of itself for her build might be a little unhealthy, ideally I'd think she should be a six.

Model industry wants, like he says, hangers, not women.

  • Ralph Lauren is an ailment on modern society.

  • It's pathetic seeing that model with fake images of being skinnier than she is.... I will no longer buy RL clothes...

  • The people in the fashion industry are sick. Who really finds being that thin attractive? I don't really buy the whole "the clothes hang better argument" I mean they are going to be worn by a normal person at one point right? Cenk is right on with hanger comment.

Personally, I'd say fitness models blow the average fashion model away. Muscled ass always beats no ass or fat ass.

  • if 120 is fat then the u.s. pop. is beyond obesity. Super obesity

  • SHE'S NORMAL WTF?!

  • the modeling and fashion industry are ridiculous. they sell the public fake images of people.

ralph lauren was right to fire her. her job was to look ridiculous and fake and she was fired for not being a stick with legs. (thinly veiled sarcasm)

  • I don't see the problem, if you don't do your job you get fired bc you can't hack it. If you get paid to be hot, or skinny and you aren't, then off you go.

  • you are a moron!

  • Tell me how am I a moron. Do you think someone should keep their job if they aren't doing it properly? Enlighten me with your reasoning. If that were the case i'd have like 20 lazy bums wandering around my shop bc I can't fire them for being worthless.

  • i think a lot of models that are just really skinny are absolutely horrendous... they don't even look attractive, get a lady with a nice ass and its all good

  • does ralph lauren have a magazine
