Reply to wadeyou- Yes they did. It was on their "Nightbirds" album, the same one that contains Lady Marmalade. I wore this album out when I was coming up. If you get the opportunity to catch it on CD( try ebay) , you won't be disappointed. ALL of the songs are excellent.

Its unfair to compare these women against each other. Each one brings her own talent and style to the show. Nona is animated and flambouyant (in a good way) and Sarah is smooth and classy. Together they produce one hell-of -a -show. Together with Patti, they formed one of the greatest women groups of our generation.....

I think Nona can handle leads as well as Patti can these days. It took her a while to find her lead voice after Labelle, true, but now she totally kicks ass. I love Sarah's voice, particularly in her prime, but always preferred it in the background.

my opinion is that neighter of them are near as good vocalists as Patti is or some other singers... but they are really good in team work... really good duet. they are experienced group performers. skilled in duets. supporting each other well. Patti usually destroys everyone on stage when she is on it... but that's a reason why we love her;]
