  • thanks not exactly the whistle i was looking when i searched for but this is pretty, i played this for my bird and he seemed to like it

  • @ShunXXX196 Thats actually quite funny!

  • if i were to buy a penny whistle / tin whistle which key would you recommend me to buy?

  • 2 people dont have a life

  • This is nice! I really wonder how you managed to change from Bb whistle to D whistle so smoothly ....

  • Is this a C or D Tin Whistle?

  • The picture at 2:50 of the pair of boots gives me the chills

  • why I always cry when Im listening to this

  • one word: AWESOME! xx

  • great tune!

  • Some of the pennywhistles I've ever used would be a suasato D along with Eric the Flutemaker's these are some of the best. I also like the English versions wich produce a much "airier" sound

  • the 1 person who doesnt like this sux

  • this might be a silly question, I just started out. When in key of Bb, you used the Bb whistle, but would it sound different if I use the D whistle? do i need to convert the notes?

  • @renkaze To play the same notes you would have to transpose and this would be a difficult transposition. or you could just play it in a key that suiits you. Try playing along to the end bit thats done on D whistle.

  • @hostroute Thank you! I tried transposing the notes, it sounded a lot better. It was too high before. And your whistle songs are very beautiful. I've been listening to this one so many times. thanks for posting it!

  • @hostroute the key change started at 3:20? is it any difference in size on the whistles you are useing?

  • @lolsa123 It starts on a Bb and switches to a D at that point.

  • @hostroute hehe okey :) witch one do you surguest to start play on for a newbie? :p

  • @lolsa123 Anyone starting laying should start on a D. The holes are a reasonable distance part and there are lots of tunes played in D or G which are easier on a D whistle.

  • @hostroute great i will buy a D whistle then ^^ swap from trumpet to whistle gj ^^

  • wow !!!

  • awesome ♥

  • which whistle is playing the higher notes???

    I really want one???

What is it exactly called please?

    thanks :)

  • @horse99lover It starts on a Generation Bb and after the key change its a Feadog D. Both very cheap and easily available.

  • @hostroute Ohhh so the one playing the most of the song is a Feadog D?

I want to play the song like you have, but only want to buy one whistle, so i would be better off getting the Feadog D right???

  • @horse99lover That would let you play it in the higher key - yes.

  • Love it, thank you for posting!

  • ok who was the one person that said they didn't like this!!!! wtf man???

  • Would you possibly be able to send me the notes for this for Tin Whistle in the Key of D? It would be much appreciated. Sounds amazing. Great job

  • What pennywhistle in particular is this one.. It is lower than most .. Im really looking forward to getting one. I want a lower sounding one l ike this. Thinking of a D aluminum or something :X help meee

  • @jbamdrews Its a B flat whistle by Generation (very cheap to buy).

  • @hostroute how much it cost this one exactly??

  • @ftlptba I live in the UK. Less than five pounds.

  • @hostroute seriously? i live in greece can u send me any link with more "stuff" and if it has also to order would be great..

  • @ftlptba Do a google search for "hobgoblin music". I just checked and they are doing the Generation Bb for £5.60. I noticed them in my local music shop for £4.75 last week. You will also find them on Ebay.

  • this is soo gorgeous :) now I try to play it by ear :) but I only have a Dixon D

  • who would dislike this???????

  • good

  • sheet music plz?

  • Just the song makes me want to cry. :'(

  • @mimemike369

I think it was a flute at the start then the whistle

  • .thats really good can i have the notes for that

  • can sum1 tell the name of the first instrument played at the starting?

  • @mimemike369 Yea, it was a synthesizer. Ugly sound.

  • This song was originally recorded with a tin whistle.

  • how many octaves can a penny whistle achieve? I might get one

  • @shrillz Basically 2 octaves although I can play one note below the bottom C and you can play above the second octave but this can sound very shrill.

  • great song.nicely played thanks

  • love love i can play it u can play it better THATS SAYING SOMETHING LOL

  • @olew56

  • 3 3 3 3 4 3 4 3 36----

  • good note- incredible playing. love the tone.

bad note- personally.....i don't really like the tapering, and there were some areas with sudden stops of sound.
