it helps to understand what an amazing arrangement it is when you can slow it down like this, and not only is it still intensely challenging (even to advanced players!), but it still maintains its "song-ness". another excellent version of this great song. i'm just now learning it, and i can almost nail the high-string part consistently at Reed-Speed, but i'm not even near this! throwin in that bassline makes it many, many times more difficult! my heads not even around it yet!

yep, impressive man, doing both bass and melody was quite a challenge! that's a nice version!

I don't even know if most here realize that this guy is playing an alternate bass line while hes doing the melody passage. Jerry didn't even do that. He just did the banjo line which he does expertly while Chet played rhythm. So this guy is working on a hybrid version something like Doyle Dykes would do.

great work man, sounds pretty good. Im sure you can play it at normal speed now. I learnt it going from 1/2 speed and then a little higher everytime till I reached the normal speed. Keep it up man! check out my cover if you have some time
