  • Wow I am so grateful to marcosagostos for putting this concert online! It's great to hear Rich talk. Does anyone have a copy of a show where he told about the rain coming across the Indiana plains? He divided the audience into groups and had us do different things that made it really sound like the rain coming from across the fields. I'd love to see that again.

  • Thanks for sharing.

So good to be true. Love endures. This is the real thing.

  • Thank you so much for sharing this concert, I saved it to my favs and it has been playing all day on my computer, lifting my spirits. Jesus said freely you have received and to freely give, Rich did this and left a HUGE legacy! He was real and rare, wish there were more like him today. God bless you for blessing all the you tube folks!

  • Hello dear friend, you ran the race, you fought the good fight, you overcame through Jesus Christ, you are now with HIM forever, thank you for letting him use you!

  • It is so beyond strange that there is so much petty arguing on every posted Rich video. Rich Mullins saved my relationship with God and in the 12.5 years since he crossed the Jordan, I have met people, read books and heard music that i know of because of Rich. He still affects my life every day, here in 2010. There is so much unity, *Grace* & community in the people Rich chose to surround himself with! Read Brennan Manning & James Bryan Smith. Listen to the Rags & Mitch McVicker! Find the good!

  • This was a delight and an honour to watch, may the legacy of Rich Mullins live on on earth as he is in heaven!! All glory to God, His way is perfect.

  • What a wonderful comment! Thank you so much! Rich's life certainly does still affect mine in wonderful ways every day. I can't wait to hug his neck in heaven!! God bless you!!

  • thank you for posting Rich's videos!

  • I wonder do you think Rich cares who owns the copyright here on July 23, 2009?

  • After long consideration, that is now intentional. I regret that I lost part #9 and I hear that the audio has been killed on part #6. I do not own the copyright on this and I think that if by posting this people are persuaded to buy the DVD, then it may work out better for everyone. Of course, this is not an easy conclusion to come to, but it is fair to the actual copyright holder.

  • I was never able to find the original copyright holder. Given as my passion is law, I probably see this a little differently than you do. I am not offering this up for download - on the contrary, I steer people towards venues that I suspect are endorsed by Rich and those who follow him. If I were to receive a letter of "cease and desist" then I would be more than willing to pull it. I see this as a site that allows sharing, the very same way it would if I invited you over to watch the video.

  • again, I don't care what you do... but don't kid yourself this is not legal without permission or without paying royalties.

I don't understand "Given as my passion is law, I probably see this a little differently than you do"

If your passion is the law you should be fully aware that you can't broadcast copyrighted matterial without the rights.

my only point was you rationalizing your crime makes you look well, like a theif.

  • a theif??? by spreading gods word to others??? wouldnt he need to steal something for him to be a theif ? do you know who rich mullins was what he believed in how he did not profit off of his music but he kept only what he needed and donated it for the sake of spreading gods word

  • I didn't say rich mullins is a thief... the copyrights to the songs are not held by the public. The proceeds of those copyrights go to the church... when you violate copyright laws in regards to rich mullins songs you are directly stealing from the church. Rich mullins spread gods word not some random youtube poster. its only 99 cents to buy the song and it goes to a good cause...

    so yeah a thief.

  • My son posted under my name, and knew that you were referring to the poster, not Rich. I have to agree with him though. This DVD is extremely hard to find. I own a few of Rich's CD's, which I paid for and rightfully are mine. I don't have to watch this to get his music. Still, I watch this concert over and over, it is a blessing, and I find it hard to swallow that you would call this person a thief.

Be careful my friend, for Matthew 7:1-2 also applies to you.

  • well what do you call it when you take something that you do not own and give it to people 27,000 times. I'm refering of course to the rights to the music. Buying a dvd does not give you the legal right to redistribute that material... its no different than pirating a movie or stealing money directly out of the collection plate in this case. Matthew 7:1-2 doesn't say call evil good and call good evil it says don't hold people up to a standard you aren't willing to hold yourself up to. I don't

  • I have yet to steal a Christian song and I purchase every cd, dvd, and mp3 I own. I don't steal from the government, private citizens, well anybody. I can't say I give everything like rich does but few can...

i guess if your willing to rationalize the unauthorized use of copyrighted material held by a christian foundation and willing to call it good than more power to you...

heres the test though if you think you are in the right why don't you just ask the copyright holder for permission?

  • The Lord sees this mans heart and motives, I do not believe his intention was evil in ANY way. Lets take this situation and put it in a scenario of Jesus vs the Pharisee. Hmmm, which part do you think you would be playing? Matthew 23:12-27 would shed some light on that.

  • well thats a pretty obsurd example because that would make the poster of this video jesus and jesus as far as I'm aware didn't violate internation copyright laws and steal from his own church.

aside from whatever you beleave biblically you are 100% wrong legally in nearly every country in the world except china.

  • Can you backup YOUR argument with some scripture please? Most of the people reading this are more concerned with the fear of God than the fear of man. I still can't understand how you think Jesus would condemn what this man has done.

Pirating a movie and stealing money from a collection plate would be to a persons benefit, how has this man benefited from posting this material?

  • How is what he has done any different than inviting 27,588 people to his home to see it for free? Consider Matthew 12:5 before you answer.

  • To make things straight, I am not advocating the violation of copyright laws and saying that everyone should take to pirating media. This issue here is that you are sitting in judgment of this person, calling him a thief, when he has only blessed a lot of people. He was trying to do something GOOD and you are calling his action EVIL. Who has he hurt? Are YOU the copyright holder? His posting of this media HAS caused me to look for a copy, so I would say that his intentions are met.

  • who has he hurt?

    The copyright holders

am I the copy right holder?

no, does that make it more or less of a sin? shouldn't I try to prevent somebody from stealing from another brother, or rather the entire church in this case.

and here is that scrpiture that you think doesn't exists

Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil

As christians it is our duty to help lead brothers away from temptation and into truth.

  • I was referring to the exact scripture that I gave you, not saying that this one doesn't exist. You are too busy defending yourself to hear what I am trying to say.

  • Did you even read the scripture? I don't think you did. It doesn't say anything about calling evil good or holding others up to a standard, it says, "DO NOT JUDGE, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." So if YOU are COMPLETELY without sin, I guess that may not apply to you. Romans 3:23 tells us otherwise.

  • still taking that verse way out of context. I'm not judging him I'm simply stating matter of factly. Its not a sin to call a murderer a murderer or a rapest a rapest likewise for a theif. I didn't say he was going to hell. That would be judging. Judging is for the lord not me. But that doesn't mean we should all just ignore the sins that we like. when people pirate music they hurt everybody in this case the people who need it the most since all the proceeds go to the church.

  • What in the world do you hope to accomplish by accusing this brother and arguing with me? If he's not going to go to hell for this, which he is not, and Rich and God have forgiven him, then what is the point of pointing the finger at him? It IS judging.

What I was trying to accomplish in all of this was to warn you, but that seems impossible as you are too busy judging another and defending that action.

  • It is no surprise that your latest favorite video is 10 Things I Hate About Commandments which mocks God and spews filth. Now I understand why you would come on here to persecute and cause trouble for a REAL believer.

  • its a parody of a movie get over it. see you are the one who has judged people I never once said you aren't a believer just that you are wrong. You judged my soul because I condeem your illegal actions.

frankly I'm tired of listing to your lies. break the law is breaking the law, period.

you said that I don't read the bible and the scripture I qouted isn't in there but when I prove it you call me a liar instead of opening your bible.

now you can weigh my soul. guess god has youtube

  • Did you guys even watch the videos? Rich pointed out the necessity to love and to stand firm on Christ alone. I will not take sides here, but this petty bickering is stupid and distracts from the messages in the video. Regardless of who is right, why are you BOTH letting Satan use you to be divisive? We are to love as Christ loved us. You both pointed to Matthew 7:1-2. Maybe you both should read Matthew 7:3-5. Cut the arguing, you look like fools.

  • @gtq838

I would call it giving freely, as we have been freely given. Seriously, if you're going to make this a biblical debate, Jesus would likely turn the tables over in any "Christian" bookstore he walked into if he were here in this time. Do you really think selling the gospel is ministry? Rich and others in the past that started this "industry" took a small share to continue in their work and support themselves. Today, mega entertainment corporations have turned it into a den of thieves.

  • @stromtrooper32

its not really a biblical debate. I mean its one thing to say I'm violating international copyright laws. but its a completely different thing to say I'm violating copyright laws in the name of god or because jesus wouldn't stand for them... jesus said give to the lord what belongs to him and to caeser what belongs to him. both apply here.

kid brothers is the copyright holder and due to no royalties they have been forced to stop offering grants to special needs kids.

  • I would be careful about accusing a brother/sister of being a thief....settle down.

  • There are a few parts left out of here...buy the DVD...you won't regret it!!!

  • Now THAT is how to end a concert! Praise The Lord!

  • Thanks for posting this. Rich Mullins Songs was the first christian music I bought, in 1999, and am still listening to his music every chance I get. I would love to find him sining Jesus, or the Raggamuffin Band doing his music here on youtube. I'd probibly never go to any other site if I found it. Be blessed to be a blessing.

  • Rich Mullens was and is such a blessing even though he has been passed for so many yrs now. Hes singing in Heaven's choir now. Praise the Lord for all things.

  • I miss him so much... He was AWESOME, and his music still lives and brings glory to GOD

    No kidding!!

  • Rich is such a blessing ... I also love Jon Gibson and Ray Boltz - classics!!

  • thank GOD and marcosagostos; this was a great concert. what a blessing Rich was and still is. He inspired many and we need to keep him alive for others. PTL

  • Wow! What an ending!

  • that was so amazing brings you to tears the way he does what he does and i mean that is right he left people worshiping like they are supposed to do its just great!!! God Bless

  • Awesome and what makes it more awesome is that he leads in worship and left people worshipping God as he went out, just as in real life. First time watching and I feel as though I was there.

  • I love the Southern Gospel flair on this one...yeehaw and Praise the Lord!!

  • You(marcosagostos) have no idea how these precious videos help me and comfort me in my difficult situation in TAIWAN...and I think I just cannot thank you ENOUGH!!!May the LORD truly bless you!Amen!

  • I would also recommend artists such as Wes King and Ray Boltz.

  • I was 7 when Rich died. The only song I might've known back then was Awesome God, but my mom's loved his music for a long time. With her encouragement I discovered other Rich songs that I loved. I wish I could've seen him live. And maybe we will in heaven, but this'll have to do for now. Thanks for posting

  • Thank you so much. You can hear all the CDs in the world, but I will forever miss seeing Rich live. You have given a great gift to so many by posting this.

  • Just like everyone else who has posted here, Thank You so much for posting this! Never having had the chance to see Rich live ( I didn't become a Christian until after his homegoing) this has been an amazing show to watch. Awesome! I, too, would have loved to hear Rich do a hymns CD.

  • Thank you for posting this and for all the work that went into it.

Whenever I try to explain what Rich's contribution have been to my life and my world..I haven't a clue as to how to try to explain it.

He is still missed and loved and appreciated.

  • We know, we know, believe me I know, it is the same, I could write a bood on how Rich came into my life after he died and how things progressed , many would not believe.I was 40, Rich has always reminded me of my brother who was killed in a bad car crash when he was 15, I was 7,like the young lady above who heard him first at that age.

  • But that isn't why he reminds me, pictures when he was young, that furious energy he had, the gift of gab, I could go on. My grandma maiden name was Mullins and came from the same area,

and I didn't even think of that for yrs after

Rich came into my life. This tape is so precious and awesome!! I started crying when he started singing Swing Low, all time fav of mine since a child, it was one of only two songs I picked to be sung at my dad's funeral in 95.

  • Thank you for sharing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • So like Rich to leave the stage with the focus turned to God ... Thank you more than I can express for taking the time to post these videos. Really means a lot to be able to watch these tonight.
