How do you prevent them from getting MBD? Is there an opossum formula, or do you have to mix it up yourself out of specific ingredients?

MBD? I don't know what that is. But yes, I fed the Esbilac. Its a puppy milk but its also good for opossums. Says so right on the container. Its a powedered milk. Good luck !

MBD is metabolic bone disorder, which is a complicated nutritional problem that can affect certain hand-reared critters, especially opossums. But I checked out the Esbilac, and it says that it does prevent MBD, so thanks so much for your tip!

That sounds like something that may have happened to some of the other opossums at the center I worked at. The opossums were very lazy and ended up having troubles walking. poor things.
