  • @Tippmann98Snipe As a bonus, in this world there are many musicians who much rather show their love and enthusiasm for music by using their musicality to enhance the piece they are playing, more than showing it in their appearance. I can guarantee to you that this man is enjoying himself, not because of is physical expression but because his beautiful musical expression.

  • @Tippmann98Snipe I don't wish to be rude as much as I want to illuminate you. It's like someone else said, his expression is how it is because he is fully concentrated and does not mean he is not enjoying himself, i speak from experience whilst playing myself. That he shows such dedication in focusing all his musicality into the instrument truly shows how much he enjoys playing it. As for "fluidity" he is being VERY fluid in what he is playing instead of in his face. I consider that very good.

  • great, genius...marvellous performance

  • I wonder if there exist people that only lives to put "don't like" to everything that see here... how is it possible???

  • wonderful.

    i don't speak much english.

realmente hermoso igual de emotivo que la version en violin.

espero poder tocar algun dia asi.

    felicitaciones.

  • amazingly talented guitar player.

  • @Tippmann98Snipe He looks like that because he is concentrated. And this isn't one of the most jolly songs you can play. what do you expect, for him to smile and laugh while playing it?

  • @100deanfender You don't have to laugh and smile while you're playing, all I'm saying is that he doesn't look like he's enjoying himself. I think an instrument as diverse and wonderful as the guitar should be fun to play.

  • What a caricature

  • Excellent. Only, he looks too... uniform. Too rigid. I think guitar is should be fun and fluid and comfortable. That's why, it seems to me, that these people who seem to have learned nothing from anywhere but a class room, aren't enjoying themselves.

  • @Tippmann98Snipe watch the movie

  • @Scaryd3k I've seen it.

  • Gorgeous.

  • Beautiful!!!

  • In the middle it has the feel of "The Third Man", which was about post War Vienna, in the same historic period.

  • @ipoodaily you have these tabs???

  • Magnifique .. Je reste sans voix !

    Bravo !

  • Soberbia y superfidedigna adaptación de esta obra maestra -de entre las numerosísimas- de John Williams.

  • gracias por darme un momento... especial :) el hombre es un maestro!!

  • bellissima e bravissimo!

  • bela musica

  • Great, beautiful, you are a wonderful artist!

    Thank you :)

  • This is how your and my life can sound to others if we will allow Him to play Himself through us. Sure, it will take time. The Master waits. Some never realize that they are only His. They run and search for nothingness and when they find it they embrace it forever. While He waits. He is the Master of the Sea and you and I if we will come to Him. He is the only reason for living really and it is a secret He will share with you. God is love. Obey Acts 2:38 and live forever.

  • perfect, can anybody play that better wow nice touch and soul!

  • Wow!! This is great!

  • very well done ! anyone who got tabs for this beautiful masterpiece?

i have been looking av 911tabs.com but i cant find any tabs that sound very good.

  • @andrjor they sound like utter crap right? at first you tell yourself maybe im not playing it at the right temple then you relize nope i have to buy a tab from some professional guitarist or i will never play this song :(

  • either the room is vey very warm or the dude is nervous :)

  • That has got to be the hardest last note to hit correctly.

  • its amazing...all these people who have claimed to have seen the movie heard the song and feel heartfelt for it....

but will still hate, at some point....peace ppl

  • @ImNotSorryInc

    wanker

  • @ImNotSorryInc and there is no chance they both would be good ? .........0.o sorry if im thinking out of the box here...

  • this song would be good for midnight mass christmas eve

  • Good

  • @ImNotSorryInc He is Japanese, not Korean. He plays the song in e minor rather than g minor and makes more errors than this guy. What year did you have your brain removed?

  • if that theme is done right, i dont care on what instrument, it makes me feel as if im watching the movie for the first time again

  • @ImNotSorryInc - Yea, you are sorry. Sorry POS

  • very nice and sensitive playing man !! this is really musical .. and full of emotionality !

  • Played with conviction.... well done, very impressive... lots of feel...

  • No words...... But this is master class.

  • simply amaing, a great take on a classic by john williams.....it blows my mind to think that such a sad yet so beautiful compostion can even be envisioned let alone actually written by anyone less than a pure musical genious....john williams is am extremely under-rated composer and his legacy in music will live on far passed anytime i will live to see

  • I wish John Williams could see this...

  • So so beautiful.... The music from this film is im sure the best music that would fit it........ Bravo, the tune haunts me and fills my heart with hope for a world how peace and hope and love......................please let us all try.

  • What tuning is this in? It doesnt seem like standard E tuning

  • @vinniebarx9 Yeah it isn't.. the E string (bas) is lowered to C, and the A string is lowered to G ;)

  • @vinniebarx9 Tuning: C-G-D-G-B-E (from 6th to 1st string) que tal eh!?? I´m working on that one right now...

  • io sono ammaliato dalle note di questa canzone... bellissima interpretazione xD

  • I was just at a Steve Howe clinic, and one of the first things Steve said was that Flavio is the best classical guitarist there has ever been.

  • when i play a guitar it feels like the guitar is a part of me

  • good job thats a song that is killer on the left hand it took me a while to play...but u do it very clean i enjoyed listening to you play it

  • Emozionante. Complimenti!

  • One of the worlds greatest speeches told through a guitar

  • it sounds nice... but the emotion that you get on a high note with the violin or even cello vibrates within the soul more than the deep stirrings of beutifully played guitar... nice version though.

  • Does somebody have notes for this? I would like to learn to play this beautiful song <3

  • Saw the forest gump video in the description and i straight away thought he was tom hanks lol

  • GOTT MIT UNS

  • The best is Peo Kindgren

  • a master who knows his work! kudos to him!

  • John Williams does play this piece by John Williams. If you search for both "John Williams" and "Schindler's List" you'll find a recording of the guitarist JW playing this in Korea.

...Still confusing people across the world...

  • @pxylenen oh my lord, genuinely didn't realise they were different people even after 7 years of playing guitar.......

  • lovely rendition

  • I never would've thought this would work for the guitar, but it's amazing! Bravo! :D

  • @Video85Man Hold me in your arms like a Spanish guitar . . . sigh.

  • Bravo! The best performance of this piece I have ever seen. I hope I will play with such a deep intensity...

  • bizarre how this guy needs nothing but his guitar to keep me fascinated for days, and how average singers get expensive musicvideos and expensive clothes and can't keep me fascinated for 10 seconds.

  • 18 people don't know how to play this song like Flavio!

    go play Bass

  • Where can i find the score? i'd even pay for it if need be

  • @TenebrusI07

  • bravisimo!!!!!! Wonderfull!!! really wonderfull!!

  • Straight to favorties! I have to admit, I REALLY like listening to this version, but don't much care for him as a performer (just from watching this one vid). Rather close my eyes and listen. That aside though, this is a beautiful rendition. =)

  • Bellissima esecuzione, un timbro spettacolare. Si può avere lo spartito?!?

  • oh, I love it!

  • too bad Williams doesnt play it at all, he's just the composer, musicians play it for him

  • A mi se me hace que la guitarra no se escucha bien, como si fuera que el sonido esta atrapado. Pero la musica esta muy bien tocada.

    Marcelo

  • anyone listens to this wouldn't doubt again that guitar could be the most delicate musical instrument ever invented, so versatile////

  • Wow.. I can feel the guitar.. Excellent.

  • Very clean. Good job!! :)

  • one of the best guitar video's one Tuba I have seen! Thanks for sharing this. Beautiful.

  • i loved the vibrato even though im not a big fan of guitars but tht was sik amazin

    i play the violin

  • I've seen a lot of people trying to perform this piece, but this is my favorite. Flavio Sala does it best. I know it might sound crazy, but i actually think he plays it better than John Williams himself! He seems to invest more feeling, pathos into the music. Goes without saying, Williams is a genius, but Salo does great honour to this beautiful composition.

  • @Azazello321 John Towner Williams, the composer of this piece, doesn't play guitar.

  • @thegoodgeneral I think he meant John Christopher Williams the famous guitarist which also recorded this piece in his own arrangement.

  • @fishwonton I knew that's who he meant. Up till now, though, I didn't know the guitarist had arranged a guitar version of it.

  • @thegoodgeneral Are you kidding me? John Williams doesn't play guitar?! The man composed the theme music for Schindler's List on guitar, and thank God for Itzhak Perlman for his beautiful violin interpretation offered to us in the movie. The most beautiful performance of a music soundtrack ever!

...Just search "john williams guitar" in the search field...

  • @Azazello321 John Towner Williams is the composer of this music. He is American and was born in 1932. He doesn't play guitar. He composed for Schindler's on piano, as he usually does.

John Christopher Williams is the person you're talking about. He is Australian and was born in 1941. He arranged this music for one of his albums, and jokes at performances that this was composed by "the other John Williams." Before telling others to search for something, do so yourself.

  • @thegoodgeneral Well, today i learned something new! ; ) You must admit, its quite a coincidence! Thanks for educating me. In any case its an amazing composition and i can't think of a better man to perform its score for the movie than Itzhak.

    Peace ; )

  • @Azazello321

John Williams didn't play the film version, it was played by violinist Itzhak Perlman

  • it doesn't sound crazy to me; you are perfectly right!

  • @Azazello321 John Williams is John Williams the American composer, not John Williams the Australian-born guitarist. Your comment about Flavio playing it better than John Williams "himself", therefore, makes no sense. Did you just make that bit up about Flavio playing it better? Have you even heard John Williams the guitarist play it?

  • @ubreakinmepatlisa Calm down man xD t

  • @Maax1me I'm as calm as Adam Sandler requesting airline headphones. It's still a dumb comment, based on supposition, ignorance and laziness. And 15 souls thought it was good. Roll on Apocalypse.

  • @ubreakinmepatlisa agreed, i spotted that too :)

  • @Azazello321 I think he puts as much emotion as Itzak Pearlman did playing the Schindler's list piece. Very nice and full of passion.

  • @Azazello321 is very very great and harmony

  • @Azazello321 You do know that John Williams (the guitarist) and John Williams (the composer) are two different persons right?

  • @Azazello321

great rendition no doubt.... but please check also the one of Dave Koz on soprano saxophone!

  • @Azazello321 there are two john williams... the one whos written this piece is not the guitar player.

google john williams and you fill find the man called John (Towner) Williams, a famous american composer.

  • @Azazello321 maybe the fact you think he gives it more feeling than john williams (the guitar player) might be that this version is slower?

  • @burthman No, I don't thing its the tempo. Its just passion. There's no explaining that. You can't teach it or explsin it, but you can see it and hear it when Sala plays it.

  • ban this freakforfish prick

  • mamma mia...bravissimo

  • I love this song and the way he plays it.... Great!

  • @Witschock

This is not song, man )

  • bravo!!!!!!!!!

  • Very nice. I liked the vibrato especially
