The SEC's current supremecy is way too overblown. If not for Tebow/Newton/Saban, you don't have the current 6peat. Conf strength is cyclical and is more dependent on quality coaching and luck. The SEC this year was very shallow outside the top 2 teams. The plus one will restore more balance in the distribution of championships to other conferences.

Had reservations when I saw the first pictures of these, but seeing the whole team on the field wearing them was awesome. Glad we got a nice RB victory to go with the new look, because I would never want to see these helmets ever again if the Ducks had lost. I can't wait to see these helmets used next season in combination with the other colors.

that would have been terrible. Our school colors are green and yellow, and I'm glad we went with that on our uniform at the Rose Bowl. The Rose Bowl exemplifies the importance of tradition, and to wear anything other than green and yellow would have been a travesty. I loved the uniforms exactly the way they were, although I would have preferred the Duck wings on the shoulders.

@xbdayx Our defense and ball security has improved a lot since the LSU game at the start of the season. Turnovers killed us in that game. Just look at when we played Stanford... Also, we scored more points on LSU than anybody else all season. The way LSU played on Monday, any of the top 5 teams could have beat them. They looked absolutely horrible.

The competition in the SEC as a whole is about the same as the Pac 12. The SEC East was mediocre this year. Outside of the top 2, the rest of the West wasn't that great. And saying Alabama's Defense was godly is partially true. They faced ONE offense ranked in the top 25 in YPG (Arkansas # 25) and that was it. They face more top offenses and those stats take a turn.

Those helmets are stunning! A successful, fantastic and unique look. I love the Ducks.  Their offensive style is a throw-back to the style of college football of several decades ago; before passing on every down became the wearisome cliche it is today. Congratulations on winning the Rose Bowl!
