Due to the possibility of a fault in the production process, the flexible rubber brake hoses may not have been correctly vulcanised. As a consequence, may partially or totally restrict the internal flow of the brake hydraulic fluid. Should this happen, a reduction in efficiency during braking would occur. Vehicles built from 10/16/2007 to 11/16/2007 are at risk.
ALFA ROMEO announced a problem with the 159, Brera, Brera Spider affecting a total of 100 vehicles.
Brake pedal could be stiff to depress, requiring more input from the driver to stop, as a result of insufficient brake assistance caused by low vacuum at low engine speed while at high altitude immediately after starting. Vehicles built from 11/1/2006 to 11/30/2007 are at risk.
ALFA ROMEO announced a problem with the 159, BRERA & SPIDER affecting a total of 610 vehicles.
Oil may leak from the Power Take Off Unit which may cause the unit to seize and possible loss of vehicle control. Vehicles built from 11/1/2005 to 2/28/2007 are at risk.
ALFA ROMEO intend to recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to apply sealant to the core plug and to fit a retaining clip.

Seat cannot match Skoda for quality - its a proven fact, the Exeo is way behind the Superb, the Leon can't match the Octavia etc. Seat make good cars, don't get me wrong, but just because they cost marginally more than a Skoda doesn't make them better.Sales of Seats are slipping too, whereas sales of Skodas is soaring.I do believe the Fabia does need to improve its interior quality though in some areas.

Seat cannot match Skoda for quality - its a proven fact, the Exeo is way behind the Superb, the Leon can't match the Octavia etc. Seat make good cars, don't get me wrong, but just because they cost marginally more than a Skoda doesn't make them better.Sales of Seats are slipping too, whereas sales of Skodas is soaring.I do believe the Fabia does need to improve its interior quality though in some areas.

SEAT, the Spanish car maker has announced record breaking sales here in the UK as well in its home market of Spain. UK sales were a record 32,935 units, comfortably beating last year's figure of 29,987, it was only the fifth time in the company's history that it exceeded sales of 30,000 units in the UK.

My mistake, I am going by the 2011 figures so far - SEAT sales in UK Feb 2011 were 820, Skoda 1690, up 7.9% on last years record of over 41,000 sales in UK. Its VW that are down - by over 26% in Jan, and 15% in Feb - no doubt us Skoda and Seat owners are stealing their sales :-) Skoda UK sales Jan 2011 - 3061, Seat - 2400. Poor VW, the only ones in the VAG empire to be dropping sales! Mainly beacause Seats and Skodas are bought by enthusiasts not robots lol.
