Purple grips awesome! Lets see the bike now. Im gonna try a wheelie tomarrow with no help just one vid :D only if i had a helmet though...If i fall i fall i dont care
lol,no,not a pro at all,I have pulled a few first gear wheelies that I wish were on camera, but nothing real special. I had to get rid of my bike so now I just dink around on my 3-wheeler,easier to wheelie. All I can offer for a tip is to get used to the rear brake, that seems key to keep at balance point.I always clutch popped my wheelies and let off instead of keeping a toe on the brake,I wish I woulda practiced right while I had my bike.Good luck with the gixxer man,I wish I had one:P
@chrislsarac yeah i went that high on my first two and im not sure on doing one on my new bike it was stupid idea going that high so soon just a little warning to all those new ppl
So im kinda getting tha wheelie thing i got a k6 gsxr 600 im kool without the clutch in first gear but the question is how to pop it up with clutch it looks easyer than gas.... do i pull the clutch all the way in or half and let go really quick i also need to give it gas huh??
Oh,if it lets my send,I'll just say that I use two fingers to hold and pop the clutch, the outer two just rest betwwen the grip and handle.Easier to keep a grip on the throttle.
1st gear, 7 thousand revs 30mph. clutch in. fist full of throttle to 10.5-11k then dump it. up she'll come everytime i promise. it'll make you laugh too. cover the back brake with your foot in case it goes to shit. good luck.
I like to get goin about 20 in 1st gear then rev it to 6-7 grand and pop the clutch to bring it up.Keeping the wheel up without going overboard takes practice. You can also try to do it without the clutch but it's harder to pull up to start but more of a controlled feel once you get the front end up..That's the best advice I can give cuz I'm really still a newb too,but thx for asking, sometime fellow learners can give the best advice to help start.good luck bro and stay safe.
Thx EarDestroyer,I'll be practicing safe...any crashes,i'll post you an update,I'll stay safe though. If I get better i'll post a vid for that too hehe.
