  • Beautiful, detailed work. I use this type of scratchboard because it's the first that I bought, and found the Claybord Ink can be painted over and re-scratched if I make an error like a bad crossing in knotwork.

  • This a beautiful piece... just beautiful!

  • I'll second that. A great advert for the technique.

  • Nice! It makes me want to try scratchboarding...

  • On this particular type of scratchboard - no, there's no reworking - once I've scratched down to the white, I'm done. I can go back with a pen and put in black, but can't scratch any further.

There are other brands of scratchboard that have a thicker coating and can be reworked. EssDee and Paris (ScratchArt) are brands I recommend for that.

  • Nice! what happens if you do a mistake, can you black out and repeat scratching?

  • Love your WHITE ROSE Ann! Just beautiful!

  • I love scratchboard art. Nice video! :)

  • Patience, perhaps, or maybe I'm just insane?!? But seriously, I really enjoy working with scratchboard and the challenge of rendering detail using just black & white!

  • Wonderful scratchboard work, Ann! What patience you have..............
