  • in 42 seconds he worked his shoulders , abs , strengthened his wrists and hips , what you hater douchebags did ?

    Created more hate ?

    Well done !

  • In other words pussybells

  • shaolin padlock skil is the art but i seems like a one exercise.

  • Aguilar - totally agree. There's a reason that old-school excercises have survived the ages; because they work. I'm a personal trainer and while I haev my own methodology etc, I stick to what works. Squats, deads, chins, press-ups, kettlebells, bench, flyes, pullovers, lunges etc. Keg training etc is superb. The guy on this video? I'd bet he can bench his body weight and then some. Don't be fooled - he's not to be messed with, you only have to look at the way he moves. Respect!

  • HELL YEAH DAIBOXER LOTS OF PEOPLE DONT KNOW WHAT REAL TRAINING IS. OLD SCHOOL TRAINING IS WHERE ITS AT STONE LIFTING, KEGS, HINDU PUSH UPS AND SQUATS ETC.

  • Some peeps here are clueless. This dude is prolly strong as an ox, most likely a wrestler (shuaijiao). If he gets a good grip on you its over. Nice clip.

  • @DaiBoxer

Thumbs up for you Sir! This guy probably tosses like a judoka and does those NASTY Shuai Jiao(SP?) muscle graps with that grip.

  • @DaiBoxer That's sarcasm right? He's old and out of shape.

  • @flupetto Afraid not bro. Dont take his lack of cosmetic development as out of shape. He's a chunky dude with big soild shoulders and not much neck. Not all SJ peeps are "Bruce Lee-ed" out (ripped). Cant say if youre beginner dont know you, but some powerful Shuaijiao people look just like this but bull strong. He is still more than young enuff to throw some fools around. No he prolly cant do any Shaolin wushu flying follies, but as a Shuajiao guy myself, I can easily detect his mettle. Cheers.

  • @DaiBoxer Thanks form educating me on this matter. I've never practice shuajiao, I'm a weightlifter with maybe too conventional views. Probably a common mistake among westerners.

  • @flupetto Cheers my friend. I always admire lifters' dedication and discipline. All the best to you in all your are doing. Pls accept my friend request.

  • @flupetto If this guy was truly out of shape he wouldnt be exercising. He's prolly focused on strength manuevers and doesnt do much body "building". Ever notice how "uncut" many powerlifters are? But still strong as hell. Similar thing here. Take care.

  • @DaiBoxer

he's definitely a shuaijiao man. look at his sweep drills and grip training with the twists. these are pretty classic shuaijiao basics.

  • @nianfong Exactamundo my friend. Hope youve been well and things been goodl. Havent seen you at the tourneys for a while..

  • Awesome!

  • these are more like dumbells than kettlebells unless you hold them from the small end. what makes kettlebells different is that you have a handle that allows you to move weight around without holding it at the center of gravity.

  • this is shuai jiao training, not shaolin

its for developing the strength needed for the wrestling throws and take downs used for shuai jiao, which isn't very popular in china, but there are still those who practice it

  • those are not kettlebells

  • Those are stone padlocks not kettlebells.

  • looks like a pretty serious training regime. i'll make sure not to add it to my workouts...at least not until i'm like 65 or 70.

  • give the guy a break. at least he is exercising. better than nothing

  • good point....now if someone would educate him on the benefits of cardiovascular training, he would lose all of his uneeded fat

  • yes perhaps.lol still he is probably doing more than most bigger people

  • he is fit and healthy and would also be surprisingly strong and fast!

  • bwahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

  • go fuck yourself honkey white trash piece of shit.

  • wtf?

  • i was replying to PlanetMaker7. He used the word "zipperhead" to taunt asians so I used "honkey" to taunt white people.

  • I don't think he was using "zipperhead" as a racist remark...he just meant to chide you a bit.

  • yeah and i also used the word "honkey" to chide them... same concept :)

  • nice training, im definately gonna mix that into my workouts

  • looks pretty cool

  • We have a whole regimine of Shi Shuo exercises in our system that I have done for a long time. As I learn more about kettlebells and kettlebell exercises I am finding that many of them are identical or with little modification. Many of the people I contact feel that kettlebells decended from padlocks we know Sambo decended in part from shuai jiao.

  • Those things he's using are called "shi-suo", stone padlocks. The only way in which you can compare them to kettlebells is that they're off centered weights, like kettlebells. Some of the traditional exercises done with heavier stone padlocks are identical to kettlebell exercises, such as the swing, and they're mostly practiced by Chinese wrestlers. The ones this man is using are pretty small... probably just for his morning light workout.

  • I've seen a kettleball, thats not a kettleball.

  • It's kettlebell, not kettleball!

  • That's very nice about wushu. So why tag it with "kettlebell"?

  • so people searching for kettlebell can become familiar with like-minded workouts.
