My 3 thoughts here were 1. Glad she made him actually " say it properly" because he has never really put it in the right words before. The look on his face to her request was "you're really going to make me work for this aren't you." 2. He badly injured his back and needed a cane in Series 2. It should not have been that easy for him to kneel down. And finally... 3. AT last!
I love the way they smile at each other when he holds her hands. Mary has the happiest smile on her face, like a little girl. Just like Matthew's smile when she finally says yes. They're adorable!! And their laughter at the end... That's the sound of real happiness. Love them.
I am a huge fan of Mary x Matthew from the first episode. This scene was perfect. I don't want to think about the drama that will surely follow these two in the third series. I cried at this scene, it made my Christmas and my year. Thank you so much for uploading it
