I'm def going to have to agree with everything you said about Carwin. He is one bad ass fighter, i really hope that the ufc starts to realize how good he is and gives him some tougher fights, gonzaga for example i think would be a great fight for him.
to call neil wain a bum is both derogatory and stupid this was his first fight in the ufc standard he had carwin on stand up thats why he went to ground. because he cant take a punch.
I disagree that you said Leben is not as strong as Franklin and Hendo maybe that is tru cause now they are fighting at 205 and did before but Leben has the heaviest hand at 185 Silva has good leg kicks ok he KO Irvin but I think that Irvin is not a substantual top 205 pounder disagree with me i dont care.
If you put Silva against a bigger 205 and i know he was testing the waters but he fought at 205 1/3 of his career anyways UFC 89 was bad as Leben lost but he will be back soon.
I have never seen then hit pads in person and as you know videos can be deceiving but I have seen Hendo in Pride and Leben before he was in the TUF house...Hendo has bigger wins than Leben but i think if Leben was at 205 he would be stronger as you.
He has re dedicated himself to MMA and looked ripped for UFC 89 he did not connect that well as Bisping was blocking with his Right hand at his temple...I dont know its hard to decide unless you put them 1on1.
You say Bisping would get destroyed of any of them guys! then you go and talk about Carwin who got given a bum to fight! see the double standards again of the yanks who complain about Bisping's opponents.
We're talking about two different divisions. There are two substantial heavyweights (three if Couture comes back strong), but there are a half dozen middleweights in the UFC that are top ten guys.
You are delusional if you think that Bisping is a top middleweight. It's that simple.
As for Carwin, the guy has legitimate skills and finishing ability. The same cannot be said of Bisping.
Bisping would be Cote? O.K. Let's ignore the fallacy of your logic (which is probably the Bisping>Leben>Cote).
Bisping would not beat Henderson, he would not beat Franklin and he would not beat Okami.
Cote, as far as I'm concerned, is just a placeholder for Anderson, so we can see how he's improving.
Neither of them are legitimate contenders, as far as I'm concerned. The difference is that Bisping has a huge following that thinks he deserves to be, while most people are realistic about Cote.
I would have to agree with you. Nowadays fighters get in the ring and are not very aggressive and try to wait for the fight to come to them. Maybe it's due to watching to film and worry about what the other guy, instead of doing what works for you and try to work your weakness. As for the comment on boxing, I agree and disagree. Actually that's what makes UFC exciting when people get knocked out by that "hitter-quitter". And those usually come from someone who knows how to box.

He had Carwin on standup? They tied up 13 seconds into the fight.
Neil Wain may be a good fighter (his record is definitely not terrible), but he was totally outclassed.
Oh, and saying Carwin can't take a punch is a little absurd. We haven't really seen his chin tested, realistically, but his boxing skills are good.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I doubt that Leben has heavier hands than Henderson, and I think that both of them would tell you.
I have a few ins with Team Quest and have seen both guys hit the pads before. There's a big difference.

I have no problem with MMA fighters using boxing skills, but I have a problem with that boxing mentality. I think we agree on that point.
