For young girls like me, "Charlie's Angels" was about seeing women we wanted to emulate. They were strong and beautiful, feminine yet not catty or bitchy. Plus, they didn't need to be "rescued" by a man. They were independent in every way.

Beautiful women, no doubt. I loathed this show when it came out in the seventies. Just could not "buy it" that females in a "masculine" job had to be so beautiful. But I guess it was never about reality.

Jaclyn Smith is stunningly beautiful, but as Im a sucker for blondes it has to be Cheryl Ladd. Looking back at all the vids she really is mind boggling beautiful, her character, charm, feminimity and charisma really make her shine bright.

Strange thing is that the only name in my memory from the 70s Angels was Farrah Fawcett, but looking back it was Cheryl I had a huge crush on all along!

Thanks that was great,I loved the Charlies Angels tv series,wasn't quite the same after Kate Jackson left,Shelley Hack and Tanyna Roberts get knocked but they were cool,Cheryl Ladd really saved the show after Farrah left.
