@rikkiroxx666 Lotta mucking about between Martha and Jeff...she wanted to get her then/boyfriend Tim McGovern into the band, so she made up some nonsense about Jeff trying to mess around with one of her teenage daughters and used that as an excuse to kick him to the curb.
I remember sitting on our deck in the sun, partaking of the "influence" of the day, listening to this over and over. Bliss, pure bliss. F***h=ken rocks!!!!
OMG. I have always loved this song and loved Martha and the Motels. this is so totally from my era. F**K Subaru and their ad campaign in New Zealand that has this song as their "signature". This song will always be so relevent to every generation, for reasons more pertinant than an automobile ad campaign!!!!!!
Such Beauty...Love this song~

Yeah, this is definitely round 1979, cos they still have Frets Ferrari (aka Jeff Jourard) on guitar ...absolute shame what was done to him.

Music full of emotions. Martha is so real and beautiful here. A highpoint of the New Wave Era.
