I'll be honest and admit that I quit watching after season 4 wrapped, but unless Lana's character did some MAJOR changing, I can't say that I'm upset that she left him for good. I always thought she was *unbearably* self-rightous and ungrateful, constantly bitching everyone out for every little slight ("I can't believe you...!") and spending all her time gazing dreamily up at Clark and demanding that he be honest with her after he just saved her life for the 113th time.

thank god...i've started the series from the beginning a couple weeks ago...and i swear to god, i've just been waiting for this moment since lois was first introduced...lana started out as a decent character but somewhere down the road she became this annoying twat where she was either "grrr clark, stay out of my life" or "omfg clark, i still love you!!"...lois is at least entertaining with all the witty remarks and ironic statements...good riddance, i say

Ill be honest when i say "LANA GET THE F@$#* BACK WITH CLARK HE NEEDS U" I really dislike Lois the show was better without Lois i know the whole comic movies etc they say that Lana was his Boyhood love and Lois is his true but Smallville broke so many rules they might aswell give us wat we want 7 seasons fighting for Lana its not worth Smallville to let Lois be his Love we need Lana they were perfect together its hard to explain Lois is an older sister to clark

mmm Lana hurt him too many times, season after season she kepts breaking his heart, maybe not in purpuse but she still does, the ironic thing is that he does the same thing to Lois, nontheless she kept stronger for him even he she founds out his secret and realizes he does not trust her.

for the record, when she was cured and left the hospital lex and his squad kidnapped Lana and made her record this video. they had a gun to her head so cut her some slack. and then she left the second time because of Lex again. He put a kryptonite bomb on top of the daily planet and lana absorbed the kryptonite forcing clark and lana to split up. but i agree lana leaves too much

I really like this show for some reason , it has great storyline and a good charachters. And moments like these are just what a good series is all about it made me even cry and i'm a guy :p

i thought this was really noble and selfless of Lana (because we all know that lana is rather selfish and greedy at times even in the comics). But then Bride happened and we found all of that out about Lex and it just ruined everything.

They should have left this alone instead of going with the lame storyline where she came back and got infected with kryptonite so now they CAN'T be together. Oh well, this was an extremely sad scene and the fact that Lois was there to help Clark made it a bittersweet moment. I was a Clana fan but it did get kinda stale at the end. Consider me in the Clois camp now!

I've noticed the original song is very different to the version on here. The piano riff has completely changed and the singing is slower, which makes it so much more powerful. I wish I could find the full song in this version!

poor Clark... this made me tear up. What really sucks though is that he is getting all upset when we all know he is just going to end up with Lois. Its hard to watch Clark go through all of this and know it really is just for nothing
