Helen reminds me of Wendy Pepper from the american version-season 1.

I am surprised that the model is simply OUT when the designer is-some models are bettr than others-whether it is looking better in clothing, or better walk etc-the designr gets attatched and I think you lose something if the designer is always sure of designing for "Their" model.

This is my first time watching the Aussie version and I love it!

thku 4 posting pr aus. This is my 1st time watching.i've only seen the us version. i noticed how the aus version differs from the us version re:model selection: if the designer doesn't make it,then the model is out. on 1 hand it's kinder in that the model is not rejected o/rt. but @ the same time,the model doesn't get a 2nd chance 2 be selected. so it seems like a mix bag of good & bad. Watching the show, its obvious that although the accents differ, cattiness is universal!

I always wonder why some of the contestants on various Project Runways are so self-centered in their appearance? I don't think self-centered is a right word, but many PR contestants have been known for their elaborate and polished hair-do's and appearances, and even though polished outerior is a good trait, these show stopping weirdo hair-do's, while great and entertaining, could be seen as hogging the limelight from the designs.. Since really, it's not about the designer, it's about the design.
