The Canadians & Aussies were formidable during WW2 aswell, I can't help but mention the little men from Nepal. The Gurkhas are one of the most feared regiments in the world & rightly so, you won't see them coming - then your throat will be slit, awesome warriors. I just wished we knew how to treat them properly!

Targul Frumos, Modlin or the Operation Market Garden. German victories achieved mainly by SS

divisions often against all odds. Even when SS

forces were defeated (Normandy, the Bulge, Spring Awakening...), their combat skills were always revealed and never ignored by their enemies.

the second man pictured in this montage is no Criminal! Panzer Kommandant Ernst Barkmann was an amazing soldier. He fought off an attack by 12 Sherman single handedly, and then withstood 3 fighter bomber attacks from US P-47s.
