Not really, DOSBox has notoriously HORRIBLE SB emulation, and is nowhere near as high quality as the actual SB hardware [obviously].

I have a real SB16 on an actual DOS PC and also an SB Awe64 Gold, and real FM Synth is just amazing compared to the crap DOSBox spits out. >.<
