@CLAGMAN1000 I agree, but it was the best I could create in the high mountain desert that I live in. I have no doubt that this would outperform any other small ice scraper on any type of ice. There are other ice removal tools out there for hard core freezing rain that you get back east, but I would put this scraper against any other scraper on the market and bet money on this one. I know it removes heavy ice because my family in CT and PA use it on heavy ice all the time.
@17faxer17 That is awesome!! Tell your dad that he has invented one of my very favorite things! I met him at SEMA in 2010 at the Autogeek booth and probably freaked him out a bit because I'm such a huge fan of this product. He just doesn't even know how much I hate scraping my windows and how much this little tool has helped me! Thank him for me for inventing such an awesome tool! I've done everything I can to help other people find out about it.
@ocdetails Oh I'll tell him that was you! I remember when he went to that. He actually invented this in the garage over the course of 1-2 years. That scraper you had was at one point packed away in our basement haha.
It cuts through ALL ice like butter. I've got a review on Autogeek's forum somewhere which has pictures. I'm going to give it another shot this winter and see what I can come up with. My problem is that the car is usually in the garage at night or in the parking garage at work. I don't get the ice like I used to when it was outside all day.
@gatecrasher83 It is definitely not sugar. The problem is that I'm in a very dry climate, so it takes more than just cold to get frost on the windows. Unless it snows or rains during the day and then freezes at night, it is tough to demonstrate how well it does. Trust me that it works awesome on all levels of frost and ice on the windows. It does just as well as any other ice scraper on the market as far as cutting the ice goes and then bumps it up a notch by making it easier and faster.
This ice is just a thin coating compared to the ice that we get in the northeast. Wonder how it is for thicker ice?

@james42519 It does awesome on thicker ice. If you are using a handheld ice scraper now, then I would bet money that this will do a better job.
