Given how, let's be honest, Halo hasn't gone through that many changes over the years, I don't see the point in paying for a remake when there are extremely similar games in the same series still available that work online. The obvious counter-argument is the graphical improvement, which is fair enough, but I personally wouldn't buy a game I already own just to enjoy higher-resolution textures and fewer colours.

I defend remaking something like Shadow of the Colossus, which suffers from terrible framerate problems on the PS2 and really needed more power, but Halo is something entirely different. Besides, SotC sold about one hundredth as many units as Halo, so it's not like that's a guaranteed best-seller. I'm not opposed to remakes as a concept, but Halo has no need for one.
