Oh yeah. When I called the Wonder Gardens in Atlantic City that year and was told he was in Africa on tour I almost lost it. He was there the previous two years and he made my Augusts. B.B., I miss those days. No way to compare with seeing him in such a personal venue.

If I'm not wrong, this was part of the soul music extravaganza built in to celebrate the biggest fight at that time being hosted by Africa: The Rumble in the Jungle- Muhammad Ali vs George Forman.

Other acts included musicians such as Bill Withers, James Brown, Fred Wesley and the J.B.s. I think this was a fantastic concert for the African people. Look at how much fun they were having in this video. This event in time is my favorite. When they were kings!
