If you want real power take out the c30 engine and put a C60R engine in,remap the turbo and strip it down,my mates done it to his the cars a beast 597 bhp and it has plenty more potential if you prepared to spend the money unreal car :)

the C30 is a very underestimated car...

the stock tires are the only weakness that i noticed on it when i test drove it...ive drvien one that only had a strut bar & BFG KDWs...night and day compared to stock cornering potiential.

getting the c30R this winter and cant wait. ive driven it many times. the clutch (tho less sporty than the Si) is responsive+ easy. def faster and quicker than the Si (tho it can never never touch a 335) the engine is quite(no exhaust note whatsoever + doesnt have the prob of holding revs like the Si). it could hold its own against a speed3 but would likely fall behind in the end. off the line isnt where its at tho. the C30 is best w/a rolling start and its power really shows in passing.

Shit.. you can get a loaded c30 for 31-32k while with that money you'd be getting a stripped down 325 of course you can't compare it cause a comparably equiped 325 would be almost 10k more than the volvo while being just a tad faster.. hell even a civic si would give it a run for its money.

As I see it.. the 325's 10-15k premium over the c30 doesnt justify the slighly better performance.. The 325 is all about badgewhoring lolz.

The 335 is amazing tho :P in that I'll agree with you.

I actually agree with you about the 325 (although some hardcore trackers will disagree) but you have to remember the 325 stopped in 06, replaced by the more powerful 328 which has the same engine as the 330 except without the three stage induction system. If you compare models according to production year an 09 328 is leaps and bounds more powerful than a c30. and yes lets not even talk about the 335 lol.
