Amazing !!! I didn't think Raymond Scott would ever let his orchestra be seen. Almost every other Hit Parade clip features some sappy skit or if the orchestra is lucky enough to be shown for two seconds Scott is nice enough to place a huge harp in front of the band. Any other clips of the Hit Parade orchestra playing their music?

He did from time to time. I have a great Bell Telephone Hour clip by Dorothy Collins where Raymond plays piano on camera with his qunitette to back his then wife...post-Hit Parade.

From what I've read, Raymond Scott's compositions were really technically difficult to play, so maybe they had to be reading sheet music in the other songs?
