This just shows how good Monta will be if he starts his offense driving to the basket. The jump shots will come along and he doesn't need to force most of them. If he could at least give up 4-5 bad shots every game and turn it into assists, he can average about 7apg and his consideration of being an all star around the league will be a whole lot bigger.

Anyways, Hopefully he'll replace Chris Paul in the all stars.

The play he fouled out was a block and he made the bucket if not for the terrible call there is a good chance he would have got 50 that night. Now that the cancer that was killing our team is gone (stephen jackson) monta is playin like an all star for sure. One more big man and the warriors are a playoff caliber team.

@basketballball23 Statistically speaking the two are very much the same, even in terms of shot attempts. After reviewing several videos their games are very similar. In terms of point guards I would prefer to see these two score less and pass more. If you look at the great point guards of the league they all average around 10+ assists per game(after all assists are <=3 points) while still getting between 18-25 ppg. Both need to improve their passing game but no question these guys can score.

@87smack This is an excellent question and debate. I really love drose, but monta (and amare) is my fav player. So im inclined to say monta is better. Monta averaged a few less assist than drose and he is a shooting guard! so if he was strickly at point, its concievable that he would average 8 or 9 assist to roses 7.7. monta averaged more points all season until the end, but drose was fighting for playoff position and well monta wasnt quite. curry and lee had off season so monta carried alot
