Brings back a lot of memories for me. I recall dancing to the song on many occasion back in the 90's during my clubbing days. The Cartwheel in New Hope, PA was the best!
@evilkillerpenguin Your half right, it was actually the Korg M1 digital workstation synth housepiano preset, along with every other dance/rave track with a piano used the same preset :)
This tune alone was just part of how good the 'raves' were all about cos we all just got right in about the whole scene, did we care not a fucking hope in hell it was just a case of - HIGHER-HIGHER , CLASS TIMES : )
wont ya love me 2 wat can i see top top tone not the word outstandn upload thanks 4 the sharen 2 all over the world Respect @ ya fellow old music heads yessssss music leathal buzz
I can't believe I haven't got this one. I remember trawling round Warrington about 1990 waiting to see the convoy. Follow it round then off to where ever for a rave. Delamere forest was the best. Police shut off all the roads but couldn't get to us. Good times, thanks for posting.
What a tune I'm 38 and this tune still sends shivers down my spine. Without chemical help. Us old ones were the rebels of the early 90's . It will never be repeated . We took the establishment by surprise . They not ready for such a teenage revolt. Now lok at laws bought in since which means those early days of peace love bass and extant will never be repeated
Don't feel sorry for us kids!... I'm 18 and I go to a lot of parties and raves where old skool is played over and over! We munch on the magic beans! We're keeping it alive... Granted it's not as good as what the 90's would have been though. At least I can say I was born in the best decade!
I used to love Njoi (manic, mindflux etc) then they released this.like 99% of bands once they get the smell of success they sell out...b/jaxx for example.

Oh for just one more night, the buzz of getting yout tickets, the excitement of scoring your drugs then into the pubs before the rave. Meeting others that were going to the same rave, getting looks of incredulity from the the old timers in the pubs, laughing at the TBM's (townie beer monsters) then losing yourself till 8am. Man, where did the time go? Im 41 and still feeling the love. Peace.
@Scanini ....... love it lol dungarees on, or ya Global Hypercolor top, white gloves and whistle lol .... in the days before mobile phones it was a quest just to get to a rave ..... watrch the film ''Weekender'' if ya havent already, class and brings it all back

@Scanini I remember going to my old watering hole, two years after I started going raving. I bumped into a friend of mine, since I've known from a boy,and he said to me. And he thought that his local boozer was the centre of the universe. I didn't make a fuss cos I'm a raver at heart and that's just what we do.

@NIGHTSKYE1 aye same here, well 39. lol I think I wud of been blinded with 5-6. Ive took 6 before but late 90's when they werent as strong. I use to love my trips, esp mushies. I used to travel al the time to all-nite raves, great times. kids nowadays are too protective of their image-rights. Don't want dodgy looking pics on their facebook..sad really or is taking 5-6pills sadder.. lol I'd rather do the 90' pills. I bought 100 a year ago, was the last time I had some. really bad stuff, poor:)
@NUstonerFC i dont rave as much as i use to, my last one was about 9 months ago, i aint done pills for a while now, i just grow my own and my ole mates come round once a fortnight and we dig out the white labels and hit the decks.we aint no spring chickens anymore dude, well me anyway hahaha. its mainly whiskey ,spliff ,takeaway and a dvd now days lol :)
@NIGHTSKYE1 lol I dont rave at al m8, couldnt on pills now-a-days. I would be tempted but theyre that shit there's no point in taking them. Aye, same goes, spliff and online gaming with pals once a week suits me just fine. and yes all homegrown. Ice at the mo, lovely stuff. take care dude.. :)
IM GOING TO BUILD A TIME MACHINE SO I CAN TAKE EVERYONE THAT LOVES OLD SKOOL FROM BACK IN THE DAY 1985 - 1996 BACK TO ANY OF THESE DATES AND RELIVE THE BEST MOMENTS OF THESE WICKED TUNES - OLD SKOOL WILL NEVER DIE. CURRENTLY WORKING ON THE FLUX CAPACITOR WATCH THIS SPACE - RESPECT TO ALL BROTHERS & SISTERS LUVIN THESE TUNES.
@Thejaystube you will have to build your time macine into an ocean liner, judging by the amount of people (myself included) that want to go back with you lol
@Thejaystube I'll give you a blackcurrent lollypop £1.34 and a brass button in return for a ticket back to my youth ( i'd offer more but that's all this shitty world has left me to offer)
@ThejaystubeNext march sees the completion of the time machine, many years, much hard work and a passion for the oldest of OLD SKOOL 88-99, Clockwork Orange London-Ibiza reunion, music policy (The rarest most delectable house of old), Mc queens Shoreditch, March the 1oth 2012
is it me or is track one of the tracks that made my underground scene comercial and made me move on to a different music type??????? sounds old and dated now even though it is not a bad track in its own right. :0)
No, don't let good music have you think that way. Take every track for how and what it is, for how it makes you feel. No track is intended to be anything more. This had a great vibe, of the legacy of the 2nd summer of love,
@appatized You lucky bastard! Saffron is gorgeous - she looked hot in the Chesney Hawkes video. Ahhh the memories. I reckon a reunion is on the cards, we can revisit Stoke and see the sights. Cockneyskinhead can pick us up in his Cortina and we can shout at eachother in the back over his fookin enormous wardrobe of a speaker! I'll bring a DJ Orpee tape and ring Keith Wegwin. Yeeeha!
@appatized bah, it's alright for some eh.........my claim to fame is I met Keith Chegwin....don't fancy trading experiences do you? (PS I didn't go all the way, I only shook his hand!!!!!)
Kerwality tune , from way back when you could end up straight out of a Club ....at someones house who youd never met before , in a room with maybe 10 people , on it , or off it .... who were in the same boat as you , and feel safe ,... Respect to the youth of the 90s
Which would you rather have eh? A Honda Civic Type R with Ripspeed multichanger, MP3 connection, amp, subwoofers and integrated tweeters coughing up David Guetta on the streets around Windsor, or a V reg Vauxhall Chevette with cassette player and two massive wooden Matsui speakers in the boot pumping this out at 3am in the car park at Sandbach services? Yeah, me too.
@fummo1970 PMSL - Haha! Was that yours? Floor mats covered in burns and baccy! Bet the mpg doubled when the speakers came out. Hazy days buddy, take care.
@picklesdan HAHAHA!!! Not so much Sandbach Services, but you just described my youth - a single giant goodmans speaker wedged in between my passengers in the back, an Alpine PULL OUT stereo, all neatly crammed into a V reg cortina.......Lakeside Thurrock here we go!! Ha ha, quality post mate!!
@cockneyskinhead Alpine stereo in a Cortina? Wow, you were royalty my friend. Was it Fererro Rocher when the munchies kicked-in? Had an Escort Ghia from 96. Stereo had a pull-off front - went straight in the glove box, thieves would never look in there would they? Actually, they'd never find it amongst the Dreamscape flyers and Twix wrappers! Stay safe mate - good to come across people like you. Rioting in the 90's? We were too busy dancing.
@picklesdan chevette? the car of the day then mate was the escort xr3i you can have all the gadgets and bling you want,i lived the best days of my life (17-22 yrs) old then man i was a lucky bastard dont be sad because your generation is screwed and music is shight now david guetta pffft !!!!!!!!
@brek11 I am from your generation mate. I'm 36! That comment was serious - take me back now man! Club Kinetic & Bowlers were my haunts pal - check out my channel to hear a couple of old skool mixes.
I feel for the Gen Y that miss out on the good times we had with this. Now it’s looking bored and wishing they were back home where they can interract with their Playstations or X Boxes, chatting with other boring gits.
They are so full of fakery and delusions of celebrity, hoping someone will splash out and throw out some cash for some BS VIP-areas. Bottle service doesn’t bring you anything to you but star-f*cking and oblivious to the fact that they have to put out at night’s end.

is it me or is track one of the tracks that made my underground scene comercial and made me move on to a different music type??????? sounds old and dated now even though it is not a bad track in its own right. :0)
MrImtriggerhappy 5 months ago
@MrImtriggerhappy

Yeeeha!
picklesdan 6 months ago

@appatized bah, it's alright for some eh.........my claim to fame is I met Keith Chegwin....don't fancy trading experiences do you? (PS I didn't go all the way, I only shook his hand!!!!!)

Kerwality tune , from way back when you could end up straight out of a Club ....at someones house who youd never met before , in a room with maybe 10 people , on it , or off it .... who were in the same boat as you , and feel safe ,... Respect to the youth of the 90s
blower220 6 months ago
Which would you rather have eh? A Honda Civic Type R with Ripspeed multichanger, MP3 connection, amp, subwoofers and integrated tweeters coughing up David Guetta on the streets around Windsor, or a V reg Vauxhall Chevette with cassette player and two massive wooden Matsui speakers in the boot pumping this out at 3am in the car park at Sandbach services? Yeah, me too.
picklesdan 6 months ago 3
@picklesdan You've seen my chevette ?.
fummo1970 6 months ago
@fummo1970 PMSL - Haha! Was that yours? Floor mats covered in burns and baccy! Bet the mpg doubled when the speakers came out. Hazy days buddy, take care.
picklesdan 6 months ago
@picklesdan HAHAHA!!! Not so much Sandbach Services, but you just described my youth - a single giant goodmans speaker wedged in between my passengers in the back, an Alpine PULL OUT stereo, all neatly crammed into a V reg cortina.......Lakeside Thurrock here we go!! Ha ha, quality post mate!!
cockneyskinhead 6 months ago
This has been flagged as spam show
@cockneyskinhead Alpine stereo in a Cortina? Wow, you were royalty my friend. Was it Fererro Rocher when the munchies kicked-in? Had an Escort Ghia from 96. Stereo had a pull-off front - went straight in the glove box, thieves would never look in there would they? Actually, they'd never find it amongst the Dreamscape flyers and Twix wrappers! Stay safe mate - good to come across people like you. Rioting in the 90's? We were too busy dancing.
picklesdan 6 months ago
@picklesdan chevette? the car of the day then mate was the escort xr3i you can have all the gadgets and bling you want,i lived the best days of my life (17-22 yrs) old then man i was a lucky bastard dont be sad because your generation is screwed and music is shight now david guetta pffft !!!!!!!!
