@ferrjimenez wait a min, no it's not. you can I just realize you can change the speed in the game options on psx, not to mention this version you can't save shit. I can only play mvc1 with lilith or rose in it. and since this is the mame version it can't save the new characters. the only thing good about this version that can beat the psx version is basically the gameplay, much better than the psx, and the crossover failz on psx.

during any game simply press, select and start simultaneously, this brings up a config menu which allows u , to config screen resolution, sound resolution, frame skip etc and also reset emulator of the rom or load new game from your rom directory, let me know if it works.

@max1311119 your original rom does not contain "mvce.03" get another version unzip and place all files u need in a folder, double check this on a roms list site as u need all the graphic rom rips and sound rom rips for the europe version, (google this n see wat u find" then) once u have checked make sure all files are named correctly all fullstops if so in exactly right place, right click within folder highlight all rom files and rezip using correct name heading eg "mvsc" 21.6mb 20 total size

for all those that dont know if u wanna customise your controls in the cps2psp for games like the sf series and similar once u have loaded a rom pres start and select simultaniuously , i only discovered this by mistake, makes such a diffrence to have all kicks and all punches eg L =LK SQUARE=MK X=HK IN A LINE. RATHER THAN THE CONFUSING PRE LOADED CONFIG.

lol, i know your problem. are you using a slim psp? if so look at the info on the right and you'll notice you need CPS2PSP 2.3.1 slim version. i have another video on the slim. its also in the title that this one is for the fat PSP..

@STATISTIQ u may need to change the boot load driver in the psp home screen by pressing select and changing one of the drivers to m33, not sure think its smthing associated with isos, trouble with these videos is they make things out to be so easy, and in fact miss alot out and hinder you. Google 8002148 error if u r still stuck there is quite alot of solutions in forums go check it out best of luck .

i found in sfa3 some of the files had .m extensions on the end which was wrong so i extracted to a new folder and renamed to correct file names

maybe you have a wrong rom with files missing, make sure you use winzip or rar and check every rom rip against the original file list.

I got mine to work a while ago thanks to this, but every time I press Home, it doesn't take me to the CPS2PSP menu, just PSP screen (Game, Video, Music, etc). I'm using the 2.0.6 version without AdHoc and my PSP is 3.52 m33-4 (acts like a OFW PSP with CFW higher than 3.52).

It works...but your millage may vary. Some graphics are garbled and incomplete but besides that, it plays and sounds well. X-Men vs Street Fighter is the one that works the best for me.

You can, this doesnt just play MVC but any game that uses the CAPCOM PLAY SYSTEM 2. Put the cache you made into the CACHE folder.

But the CACHE file is the same as the rest, when i put a new one it just delete or puts "CACHE(2)" each time i try it.

Well, you need custom firmware which is a modified version of the PSP's operating system. And in order to get it, your gonna need Pandoras battery and magic stick. You can get both if you already have a psp on 1.50official or custom firmware. the second is buying it from someone who has already made it. Note: cfw will void your warrenty on your psp.

when you press home on your psp AFTER the game completely loads, go to the settings and change the button layout. change the service mode button to one you can use and take off coins to free play and then exit service mode. Then change the buttons back to normal and you now have free play and just press start to start a game.
