This was my dads favorite song. He passed away May 3, 2010. It has ben hard for cause he was papa until he adopted me cause my birth mom told me when i was 3 that she didnt want me and she didnt love me or want to take care of me. My papa and gradmother adopted me and then he found out he had cancer and told me that my cousins was willing to let me come and live with them cause he didnt think he could take care of me and give me what i needed so he wanted me to be somewhere where i would.
there were messages and intentions in these hymns that even I tonight, knowing my grandmother( a religious woman) passed away this morning...i find solace in .
I only wish these intentions, humanity and beauty are found again and we do not rely on the absent hand of another, but each other to remember our inherent capacity for love

This was played at my aunt's funeral... :'( she died when I was about 6 years old from cancer :( but it makes me think of her every time I here it ... and think of the good times we had together!

@JRayMalcolm I am an agnostic atheist. I do not believe in gods (atheism), but I do not claim knowledge that there is no god (agnosticism). There is just a severe lack of evidence for one. An antitheist is against the idea of gods/religion.

@AdmireAndDeride that's what I don't get, how do you make that decision based on a lack of evidence. There's also no evidence that you exist but everyone makes the faith based assumption that we do. Everything you believe is based on faith no matter if you're christian or atheist. is there something I'm missing?

You don't need to call yourself an 'agnostic atheist'. That doesn't even make sense. You're just an atheist. An atheist is someone who lacks a belief in god, which is what you are, according to what you said. Atheism isn't the positive assertion that there is no god. So, just call yourself an atheist.
