  • Ok sorry I went to Wiki his songs have been covered by;

    Bob Dylan, Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Foghat, The Yardbirds, The Rolling Stones, Queen, Megadeth, The Doors, The Allman Brothers Band, and The Grateful Dead.. to name a few.

    'Weak brain, narrow mind' - and 'Spoonful' are probably my two favorite atm.

    My apologies for the outburst

  • Dixon is the man, I'm fairly sure he was one of those blacks that made himself that dignified and intellectually advanced that much racism was confronted/dispelled in a universally obvious way, and the amount of good music let alone songs that stem from him is prevalent even today.

  • If your just getting into Willie dixon I would suggest checking out "Weak Brain and a Narrow Mind". It is an amazing tune and has great feeling. What I love about Willie is that while he wrote and played some of the best blues around he sometimes veered off a litle from the blues and created something new, but that still has a blues feel. He was truly a great composer and had a HUGE impast on music.

  • @Nickjdj thats surprising since he like wrote their music hahaha
