When i first saw this video years ago...i was totally marking out! I though the story behind it was fascinating. Mutoh became fed up with being "one-upped" in the beginning and realized he need the Heel Muta to take his anger out on Chosu and Tenryu.

Years later he would do the same gimmick except in reverse. He would drop Muta halfway through to become Mutoh...only to join the NWO...which was necessary because Muta was currently NWO lol.

it only took 5 minutes because that time he used a cream paint which takes less coats (about one coat) and it let him get it done faster then his normal latex paint that he uses which takes him about 3 or 4 coats which takes about 30 minutes to do

No Keiji Mutoh/Great Muta has been wrestling since the mid 1980's. He has had many other names he has wrestled under ex. black ninja, white ninja. He started off with his real name and after a few years he went as the great Muta but as in this match he still does appear with his real name at times.

I swear when Muto/Muta is in his different gimmicks he goes all the way with them. They are totally adverse to one another. The personality, moves, ability...i mean everything changes. It's like you forget its the same man portraying them.

That is Great Muta, he was wrestling under his real name. He actually wrestles under his name, but was had way more recognition as Great Muta

To be fair, Choshu does through MUTA thru out first (and lariat him off the apron *lol*) but yeah Tenryu does it several times (was Tenryu born a grouchy old man?).

Fun match, never seen MUTA spray that many times! Noticed a sad thing though - this was '94 and MUTA's knees looked like they were already breaking down.
