@GTAcrazyfan12 Yes the head unit will fit your vehicle. You will however need a dash kit and specialty wire harness for complete installation of the head unit into your vehicle. Please be advised that due to the nature of your car, the wire harness will be a premium wire harness that does not fall under our free accessories offer. The wire harness is completely needed for accurate installation and function of the head unit.

@zackman2691 A lot of Toyota vehicles can accommodate a double din radio, unfortunately not all years and models can. Please check our fitment guide on our website by adding the radio to your cart and putting in your specific vehicle information. Our system will provide accessories for installation that you can accept or decline. If it does not fit - our system will advise.

@intomri It definitely does. You can use some universal camera's, or a JVC specific backup camera. For the best quality, a JVC camera is recommended.

What is the boot time? Can you do another boot up time comparison like you did with the previous year's flagship model. Preferably between the Kenwood 9960, JVCNT3HDT, & Alpine W900BT

@wozzers2 Unfortunately Sonic Electronix can not confirm if European maps can be installed on the KW-NT3HDT. I'd recommend checking with JVC authorized retailers and installers in your area if they can flash the unit. Usually, DVD region codes will interfere with this U.S. units working properly, as well as radio stepping frequencies. The map is another issue of course, but usually JVC has their on European version of the unit priced accordingly.

@vinnie97 It is here! We just got our first shipment today! As i type this, the NT3HDT is getting it's picture taken. It looks really nice. The screen is bright and clear. The menu and GUI is fast. Boot-up time is really quick as well. We haven't hooked it up to any speakers yet, but so far we are quite impressed!

@tkeeler Not sure the exact release date. We are hoping that we will have them by early to mid-April. As soon as JVC starts shipping them out, you will see them in-stock and available for shipping on our site.

Mid April now. ;) I've heard as late as end of April for ship dates actually. Does the NAV system have a feature that will automatically interface with the traffic information and route you around trouble areas?

my only question is who want that stuff. People want to customize their radios. screen savers, visualization while playing music, changing background color and button color.

Now a days its all about customize. especially when you have to pay a pretty penny ($1199) for a radio. most ppl use iphone/ipods to play music or rock normal radio.

I dont mean to rag on this but $1200 bones and I cant do any of those things come on

The NT3 offers some customization in terms of the variable color illumination (over 30,000 color combinations) as well as separated variable color (allows two colors to be selected for the buttons and the display). It also has a programmable custom start-up message (a voice message will greet you when you turn on the unit. you type in what you want it to say and it will say whatever you want).

Also, this isn't shipping yet. As soon as we get it in stock we will have more details on it.
